The Best Mom's Recipe Crumbl Cookies

Crumbl cookies is a cookie chain that has some of the tastiest cookies ever, and this recipe puts a spin on their mom's favorite cookie. So, if you love Crumbl cookies, you're going to love this secret recipe!

These cookies encompass all of those warm childhood memories with a specific blend of ingredients. A buttery warm and chewy oatmeal cookie base is filled with chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and toffee bits. And, as I mentioned just a second ago, there's even a blend of warm spices in these cookies that perfectly balance out all of the sweetness.

Now, these cookies are without a doubt delicious, but I think the best part about them is that they're beyond simple to make. In fact, just some common pantry staples and 5 easy steps are all it takes to make these mom's recipe crumble cookies.

Plus, they're super quick to whip up too. You can have them hot out of the oven in under 30 minutes!

Oh, and if you're a fan of Crumbl cookies, you have to give these frosted sugar cookies a try next. They're another copycat Crumbl cookie recipe we did and everyone seems to love 'em.

Anyway, let's dive into the ingredients you'll need.

    Ingredients

So, these cookies are made with typical baking ingredients, but you'd never believe it since they are so delicious.

Think of the best oatmeal cookie you've ever had, but 1000x better - that's what these cookies are.

Anyway, here's what you'll need to make some Crumbl mom's recipe cookies:

    • ½ cup Butter, softened
    • ⅓ cup Brown Sugar
    • ¼ cup Granulated Sugar
    • 1 Egg
    • 1 tbsp. Vanilla Extract
    • 1 ¼ cup Rolled Oats
    • 1 cup Flour
    • ½ tsp. Cinnamon Powder
    • ½ tsp. Baking Soda
    • ½ tsp. Salt
    • ¼ cup Chocolate Chips
    • ¼ cup Peanut Butter Chips
    • ¼ cup Crushed Toffee Candy

    Not bad, right?

Now, I know you might be thinking that the combination of ingredients is odd, but trust me, everything goes together so well. So you won't want to leave out anything on this list!

By the way, you might as well stock up on these ingredients so you can make some more of our delicious cookie recipes, like these Ghirardelli chocolate chip cookies, these chocolate chunk cookies, and this edible sugar cookie dough.

Now, that you have your ingredients ready, let's jump into baking our copycat Crumbl mom's recipe cookies!

An overhead view of all of the ingredients it takes to make mom's recipe crumble cookies. There is a large bowl with oats, a medium size bowl with flour, a medium size bowl with brown sugar, a smaller bowl with toffee pieces, another small bowl with chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, a small bowl with an egg, a smaller bowl with vanilla extract, salt, baking powder, and granulated sugar.

How to Make Mom's Recipe Crumbl Cookie

Ok, so this process will make 12 mom's recipe crumbl cookies, and as I mentioned, it will take you under 30 minutes to make 'em.

With that said, if you're bringing these cookies somewhere, you might want to double the recipe because everyone will eat them up.

Anyway, let's not waste any more time. Let's get baking!

An overhead view of a large mixing bowl with butter and sugar creamed together. Beaters from an electric mixer are over top of the bowl.

Step 1: Cream the Butter and Sugar

To start, preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Next, add the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and butter to a large mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer or stand mixer to cream these ingredients together. And it'll take a few minutes to do this - you'll want to mix the ingredients until they're really soft and creamy.

An overhead view of a large mixing bowl with creamed butter and sugar, an egg and vanilla extract has just been poured into the same bowl.

Step 2: Add the Wet Ingredients

Next, add the egg and vanilla extract to the large mixing bowl.

Then, mix the egg and vanilla extract with the creamed sugar until they just combine.

A bowl with the wet ingredients for the mom's recipe cookies, all of the dry ingredients have just been added.

Step 3: Add the Dry Ingredients

Now, add the rolled oats, flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt to the wet ingredient mixture.

Then, use a wooden spoon or rubber spatula and mix the wet and dry ingredients together until everything combines and a cookie dough forms.

Step 4: Fold in the Chips and Toffee Bits

Now that you have a delicious cookie dough, add the chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and toffee bits to the bowl.

Then, fold the chips and toffee into the dough with your rubber spatula - or wooden spoon - until just combined. And before moving on, sneak a bite of cookie dough for a sneakpeek of how good these cookies will be.

    Step 5: Bake The Cookies

Once the cookie dough is combined, scoop it into 12 equal-sized cookie dough balls - about 2-tablespoons in size.

Then, place the cookie dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and slightly flatten the tops of the cookies with the back of a spoon.

Finally, bake them for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown.

Lastly, remove the baked cookies from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Then, transfer to a cooling rack before serving. Enjoy!

How to Store Mom's Recipe Crumbl Cookie

As you know, this recipe will make 12 cookies, and they're honestly just as delicious fresh as they are leftover. So you'll definitely want to try to save a few if you can!

With that said, if you have some leftover cookies, you can store them in an airtight container at room temperature for about 2 weeks. Then, if you want that fresh out of the oven experience, just pop the cookie in the microwave for a few seconds.

    How To Freeze Cookies

If you want to keep these cookies for longer, you also freeze them and have this tasty treat on hand whenever the cookie cravings hit.

To freeze the cookies, transfer them to an airtight container or freezer-safe bag, and they'll last in the freezer for up to 6 months.

You can either eat the cookie chilled, let it thaw at room temperature, or put it in the microwave for about 10 seconds

Honestly, I think these mom's recipe Crumbl cookies are some of the best ones that I've ever had. They have the perfect balance of sweet, buttery, caramel, and chocolatey flavors. Not to mention they have just a dreamy soft, and chewy texture as well.
