    The Best Nutella cookies

Nutella is a hazelnut chocolate spread that is incredibly popular, so I'm sure you've had it a few times. But have you ever tried it in the form of cookies?

Well, if not, prepare to have your mind blown!

Seriously, these cookies are made with Nutella and just two other ingredients. Plus, they're soft, chewy, and have an irresistibly rich chocolate flavor that is so fudgy and decadent.

Yeah, it's safe to say that these chocolate cookies are addictive! About as addictive as these snickerdoodles.

Seriously, it's crazy that Nutella can create such perfect cookies. And it also makes a divine cake too, this 3 ingredient Nutella mug cake recipe is proof of that.

By the way, these cookies take less than 15 minutes from scratch.

Baking homemade cookies doesn't get much easier than that does it?!

A couple of Nutella cookies stacked on top of one another on top of the plate that is on a white counter. Next to the cookies on the plate is a glass jar of milk.

    Ingredients

So, as you know by now, this is a 3 ingredient cookie recipe.

And if you have the Nutella, I can almost guarantee you have the other two components!

Here's what you'll need for this easy cookie recipe:

    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1 cup Nutella
    • 1 large egg

It's hard to believe that only three simple ingredients make cookies that are this good!

And this isn't our only recipe with three ingredients that makes drool-worthy cookies.

We have a three ingredient sugar cookie recipe with M&Ms and chocolate cake mix cookie recipe as well, so you'll definitely want to give those a try next!

A bowl with an egg in it, a glass bowl with flour in it, a white bowl with a spoon in it that is covered with Nutella all on a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet on the white counter.

    How to Make Nutella Cookies

I wasn't kidding when I said this was an easy cookie recipe. And since it's so simple, it's a great dessert recipe to make with kids!

They'll definitely want to eat the cookies once they're done, so you might as well recruit them to help you bake.

Now get the ingredients together, and let's get baking!

Nutella cookie dough with a spoon submerged in it in a white bowl on a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet and a white counter.

Step 1: Making The Cookie Dough

As always with any classic cookie recipe, start by preheating the oven to 350°F (180°C). Then take out a baking sheet, line it with parchment paper, and set it aside for later.

Next, take out a large bowl for mixing. Add the Nutella (or any chocolate hazelnut spread), flour, and egg to the bowl and mix until combined and a cookie dough forms. The cookie dough will get a little tough, so make sure to use a hefty rubber spatula or wooden spoon.

But make sure not to over mix the dough - just mix until the ingredients fully combine.

Three rows of three Nutella cookie dough balls on a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet that is on a white counter.

    Step 2: Baking the Cookies

To portion out the cookie dough, I used a ¼ measuring cup to scoop the dough. But you can really use anything you want and make the cookies any size you want.

Now scoop the cookie dough and use your hands to form them into balls. Then transfer each cookie dough ball to the baking sheet and flatten the top slightly with your fingertips or the back of the measuring cup.

Once the baking sheet is filled with cookies, bake them for about 8-10 minutes until they are cooked around the edges and still slightly soft in the middle.

Then let the cookies cool completely on the tray for about 5 minutes and transfer to a wire rack. Finally, grab a chocolate cookie - or two - and enjoy!

    How To Store Cookies

Alright, so this Nutella cookies recipe will make about 12 cookies, depending on how big you make them. But these baked cookies are so good it's going to be really hard not to eat all of them!

However, if you do manage to save a few, I recommend keeping them in an airtight container at room temperature for about 1-2 weeks.

And if you want to save them for even longer, you can keep the cookies in a freezer-safe bag in the freezer for about 6 months.

By the way, these Nutella cookies are actually delicious frozen, but if you want, you can thaw them at room temperature or pop them in the microwave for about 10 seconds.

    Wrapping It Up

Well, that is how to make 3 ingredient cookies with Nutella!

These cookies are sensational and easily one of the best Nutella recipes in existence.

Whenever you're craving chocolate, Nutella, or cookies, these will for sure hit the spot. They're perfectly chewy, thick, and have all of the rich chocolatey Nutella flavors.

Everyone who tries these falls in love with them, so you're guaranteed to have a hit cookie recipe for any occasion!

I hope you like these Nutella cookies as much as everyone else does. If you try them, leave a comment below and let me know what you think!
