How To Make Olive Garden Cheese Ravioli

Anyway, now let's stop wasting time and get into it!
Step 1: Cook The Cheese Ravioli
First, you'll need to cook the base of this dish, the cheese ravioli.
To do that, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then cook the ravioli according to package instructions. Once the cheese ravioli is done cooking, drain it and immediately toss it with olive oil to prevent it from sticking.
Also, while the ravioli is cooking, you can make the sauce.
Step 2: Make The Creamy Marinara Sauce
Now it's time to make the rich and creamy marinara sauce. To do this, melt the butter in a large skillet and then add the garlic paste to it. Then, cook for a few minutes until the garlic is fragrant. Stir in flour and cook until lightly browned.
Next, add the tomato paste to the skillet and cook for about 10 seconds, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon to prevent it from burning.
Now, slowly add in the broth and heavy cream, followed by the parmesan and Gouda cheese. Then, once all of the cheese has been added give it a good stir until it melts into the sauce.
Step 3: Serving
So, once your ravioli are cooked, and the sauce is finished, add a few ravioli to four plates.
Then, ladle the creamy marinara sauce on top of the warm ravioli.
Finally, you can finish off this Olive Garden cheese ravioli recipe by sprinkling some parmesan cheese on top of it and garnishing it with fresh parsley and diced tomatoes.
Enjoy!
How To Store Olive Garden Cheese Ravioli
As I briefly alluded to, this recipe for Olive Garden's cheese ravioli makes 4 large servings. But, if that's not enough, you can easily double or triple the number of ingredients for a large family dinner.
Much like the actual dish, this Olive Garden copycat cheese ravioli also makes for awesome leftovers!
To store your leftover cheese ravioli, simply put it in an airtight container, and it will keep it in the fridge for up to 5 days. To keep longer, you can freeze the ravioli for up to 2 months.
As for the marinara sauce, you'll want to store it in a separate airtight container, and it will last in the fridge for up to 4 days. If you want to keep it for longer, you can freeze the sauce for up to 3 months!
How To Reheat Cheese Ravioli
To reheat your cheese ravioli, just pop it in the microwave and heat it in 30-second increments until thoroughly warm.
Then, to reheat your marinara sauce, add it to a saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring frequently until it reaches your desired temperature.
Just keep in mind that if you're starting from frozen, let the sauce and ravioli thaw in the fridge overnight and reheat as directed above.

The recipe calls for flour. When is that added; is it sizzles in the butter when beginning to make the sauce?
Brendan Cunningham
It's added right after cooking the garlic in the butter. Add the flour and cook until lightly browned, then add in the tomato paste.
