The Best Cheesecake Factory Four Cheese Pasta Recipe

Who doesn't love a hearty serving of cheesy, hot pasta?

Everyone - literally everyone - knows that the Cheesecake Factory four cheese pasta is the best thing on the menu. I mean, I think they do?

Anyway, this recipe will remind you of the "real thing - to be honest, it might even be better. And the best part is you don't even have to change out of your PJs to enjoy it.

Also, this recipe is super easy to follow. Just a few simple steps are all you need to follow to make it, and it requires little to no prep time too.

Seriously, in less than an hour, you can be sitting down enjoying a hearty serving of this delicious Cheesecake Factory four cheese pasta recipe - perhaps even with a glass of wine, because you deserve it after all your "hard" work!

By the way, if you're looking for some equally delicious side dishes to accompany your four cheese pasta, check out some of our recipes: like this garlic bread or this cheesy bread.

    Ingredients

You might be able to guess this, but the most important ingredient in this four cheese pasta recipe is...cheese! Yup, hard to believe right?!

This Cheesecake Factory Four Cheese Pasta recipe features fresh mozzarella cheese balls, creamy shredded mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and - my favorite - ricotta cheese.

In addition to tons of cheese, this pasta recipe also incorporates a nice rich marinara sauce of your own choosing, along with fresh chopped basil and freshly ground black pepper. My favorite part about this recipe is that since you're the one who's cooking, you get to decide how much of each ingredient goes in your pasta! So, with that said, feel free to switch up the pasta noodles you use, or even make your own pasta sauce.

And, if you're curious about how to make your own pasta sauce, just scroll down a little farther and I give you my best tips!

Now, let's get down to business.

Here's everything you will need for this richly delicious Cheesecake Factory Four Cheese Pasta Recipe:

    • 2 Cups Penne Pasta
    • 2 Eggs
    • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
    • 2 Fresh Mozzarella Ovoline Balls, in quarters
    • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese, shredded
    • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese
    • ¼ cup Fresh Basil Leaves
    • 1 ½ cup Marinara Sauce
    • Salt and Pepper to taste
    • 2 tbsp. Ricotta Cheese
    • 2 tbsp. Parmesan Cheese, shredded
    • Basil Leaves, chopped

    Pretty simple, right?

Each of these ingredients can easily be found at your grocery store, and because there's no prep time required, you can easily get all of the ingredients on your way home from work. And you can use almost all of them to make this pastalaya next! Or, if you want a simpler, quicker pasta recipe, you can make this microwave pasta with penne noodles.

By the way, if you want to save time, you can opt for pre-shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese.

Also, any marinara sauce will do, just make sure it looks delicious to you!

    Now, let's get to cooking!

Penne pasta in a strainer with a bowl of marinara sauce in a bowl of Parmesan cheese next to it.

How to make Cheesecake Factory Four Cheese Pasta Recipe

The process of making this Cheesecake Factory pasta is beyond easy.

And it really is crazy that the result is a dish that will have people convinced it came from the restaurant!

Now, let's not waste any more time, and get right into the recipe.

    Step 1: Preheat the Oven

First things first, you'll want to preheat your oven to 350ºF (180°C). The pasta gets baked to perfection after it's all prepared so the cheese can melt and noodles can crisp up a tiny bit.

Baking this four cheese pasta recipe is what I think makes it one of the best - if not the best - Cheesecake Factory pasta.

A hand holding a fork that is submerged in a white bowl filled with two eggs, ricotta cheese, and shredded Parmesan cheese.

    Step 2: Cook The Pasta

Now, before we dive into the other components of the recipe, you'll want to get the pasta cooking.

First, cook the pasta of your choice according to the package instructions. Then, drain the pasta, add it to a large bowl, and set it aside. And while the pasta is cooking, you can get working on the other steps.

By the way, if you're looking for another tasty Cheesecake Factory pasta recipe to try give this copycat chicken piccata recipe a shot next!

    Step 3: Prepping The Pasta

Now, take a mixing bowl and add the ricotta, shredded mozzarella, egg, basil, and black pepper to it. Then, give these ingredients a good mix and set them aside.

Next, warm up the marinara sauce. And, as I mentioned before, you can use any one that you'd like for the recipe.

Parsley, salt and pepper, and a cheese mixture in a white bowl.

    Step 4: Completing The Pasta

So, once the pasta is cooked, you can add it - and the marinara - to the bowl of cheese, and mix everything until well combined.

Next, transfer it to a glass baking dish and top it with some quartered mozzarella balls and parmesan cheese.

Marinara sauce and a bowl, Parmesan cheese in a bowl, and a cheese mixture in a ball on a white counter.

    Step 5: Baking The Pasta

Now cover the baking dish and bake for about 25 minutes.

Once the 25 minutes is up, remove the cover and bake the pasta uncovered for 5 more minutes. Doing this will allow you to get a nice finish to the top of this Cheesecake Factory four cheese pasta.

    Step 6: Garnish and Serve

Finally, after the Cheesecake Factory four cheese pasta bakes to perfection, take the baking dish out of the oven, let it cool for just a minute or two, and then serve the pasta.

    Enjoy!

Cooking Tips for this Cheesecake Factory Four Cheese Pasta

This dish is best served hot. And I like to finish it off with a couple of dashes of freshly ground black pepper and maybe just one more sprinkle of parmesan cheese.

After all, you can never have too much cheese, right?

Also, if you want your penne pasta to be al dente - like they are at the Cheesecake Factory - take a test bite of a noodle about 2 minutes before the package tells you it should be done. If the noodle is chewable but still has a bit of a bite to it, then you have al dente noodles!

    Customizing Your Pasta

Now, if you want to put a little extra love in this Cheesecake Factory pasta recipe, you can always go ahead and add in some homemade pasta sauce.

I am consistently surprised by how easy it is to make homemade pasta sauce.

I find the best way to make a delicious pasta sauce is to keep it simple by combining a can of crushed tomatoes, some salt and pepper, oregano, and garlic powder into a saucepan.

Let your sauce simmer on medium heat for at least fifteen minutes. Then, add that into your four cheese pasta recipe and have your family singing your praises over this homemade dish in no time!

And if you like a beef marinara sauce, you have to make the one from this fried spaghetti recipe!

As for the noodles, you can feel free to swap out the penne pasta for other pasta noodles - or you can be a little wild and use several different types of noodles!

If you go this route, just be sure to use noodles that are roughly the same size so they will all cook evenly.

Also, if you're looking to boost up the protein in this cheese pasta recipe, consider serving it with a nicely cooked chicken breast, like the one in this air fryer chicken breast.

How to Store This Four Cheese Pasta Recipe

If there's anything better than fresh Cheesecake Factory Four Cheese Pasta, it's the leftover pasta!

This cheesy, rich pasta only gets better the next day.

This Cheesecake Factory four cheese pasta is best stored in an airtight container or sealable bag and it will last in the fridge for up to 3-5 days or in your freezer for up to 2 months.

How To Reheat The Leftover Pasta

I love portioning out my pasta into tupper ware containers and bringing it to work. Honestly, it makes a great meal prep pasta recipe.

Then, to reheat it, I just place it in a microwave safe dish and microwave in 30-second increments until thoroughly heated - about two, to two and a half minutes.

Alternatively, you can place your cheese pasta in a preheated oven set to 325ºF and let that cook until thoroughly heated - about 10-15 minutes.

    Wrapping it All Up
