How To Make Olive Garden Chicken Scampi
As I've mentioned a couple of times, this Olive Garden chicken scampi is super straightforward and easy to make.
Seriously, after you make it once, you'll probably be able to make it again without even looking at the recipe!
Anyway, let's not waste another second, and let's dive in!
Step 1: Cook The Chicken
First, cut your chicken breasts into strips and season each strip with some salt and pepper.
Then, once you've got the chicken prepped, you can prep the flour mixture for it. So to do that, add the flour, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to a medium-sized bowl and mix until combined.
Now, once you've got that all mixed together, you can completely cover the chicken tenders in it. I like to do this in a plastic bag, but a sealable bowl will work great too.
Next, heat a non-stick large skillet to medium high heat and add the olive oil to it. Then, place the chicken tenders in the large skillet so they are laying flat, and cook the chicken for a few minutes on both sides. You want each piece of chicken to be golden brown, and you also want each piece to reach an internal temp of 165Β°F.
Once that happens, remove the chicken tenders from the heat, and set 'em aside.
Step 2: Cook The Pasta & Veggies
So, while the chicken is cooking, you can prepare the other elements of this Olive Garden chicken scampi recipe.
First, cook the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions or to your desired doneness.
Then, slice up all of your veggies, and cook them in the same hot skillet that you cooked the chicken tenders in. So, to do that, you'll want to add the butter, bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the pan and sautΓ© everything for a few minutes until tender and aromatic.
Step 3: Make The Sauce
By now, all of the components should be cooked and ready to go, so it's time to make the sauce.
And making it is super easy.
Just add the chicken broth, white wine, heavy cream, and parmesan cheese to the skillet with the veggies, then give everything a good mix, and let the sauce ingredients melt a little bit. Then, continue stirring the sauce intermittently until the sauce begins to lightly thicken.
Step 4: Complete The Pasta Dish
Once the sauce has begun to thicken, add in the cooked pasta and toss to combine everything.
Then you can either slice the chicken into pieces and add it to the skillet to mix or leave the chicken in strips and serve on top of the cooked pasta.
Lastly, transfer this Olive Garden chicken scampi to a plate - or bowl - and top with some fresh parsley, a sprinkle of grated parmesan cheese, and some crushed red pepper flakes if you want to add a little heat.
Enjoy!
How To Store Olive Garden Chicken Scampi

With that said, if you want to serve this pasta dish as a family dinner, I recommend doubling or tripling the copycat recipe. And don't worry about making too much because this pasta dish also makes for awesome leftovers.
Just keep in mind that since this pasta has chicken in it, it'll stay good in the fridge for up to 4 days. However, if you just want to keep the pasta, you can store the cooked pasta for up to 5 days.
How To Reheat Chicken Scampi
As I mentioned, this meal makes for some fantastic leftovers.
And, of course, if you have leftovers you'll no doubt want to reheat them. My favorite way to reheat my leftover chicken scampi is by adding everything back to a skillet with a splash of broth and heating it on medium heat until warm.
Alternatively, you can reheat everything in 20-second increments in the microwave, stirring between each one until warm.
