This Nutella cake recipe involves mixing a couple of ingredients, microwaving the cake, and then it's indulgence time!

Seriously, in just 1 minute you'll have yourself a mug cake that is so rich, decadent, moist and hits all the cravings. 

I love whipping this up as an after-dinner dessert or late-night treat. And since it's a single-serve cake, it has just the perfect amount. It's a good thing too because if this were a whole cake, it'd be nearly impossible not to eat the entire thing!

Oh, and since it's made with just 3 basic ingredients, it makes it super convenient to whip up at a moment's notice.

INGREDIENTS

So, as you know, this Nutella mug cake only requires 3 super simple ingredients. And those ingredients are...

• 2½ tablespoon Nutella 
• 1 Large Egg
• 1 tablespoon Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

HOW TO MAKE A NUTELLA MUG CAKE

The process of making this Nutella mug cake is as easy as it gets. That's why it's by far one of my favorite Nutella recipes, and honestly, one of the most delicious.

I know by now you're dying to indulge, so let's get to it!

STEP 1: MIXING THE INGREDIENTS

First, take out a microwave-safe mug or ramekin, coat it with baking spray, and set it aside.  

Then add the Nutella, egg, and cocoa powder to a small bowl and whisk with a fork until everything combines and a batter-like consistency forms.

Once you have that, pour it into the prepared mug or ramekin.

STEP 2: COOKING THE CAKE

Now put the mug cake in the microwave for about 60-75 seconds. You'll want to check it at the 45 second mark to see how it's cooking - you can always put it back in but don't want to overcook it as the cake will dry out. 

Alternatively, you can bake the mug cake in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 8-10 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center. 

Then let it cool for a minute or so, and top with about another tablespoon of Nutella. Finally, eat it right out of the mug or transfer it to a plate and dig in!
