    THE BEST GARLIC BREAD

There's something about the smell of garlic bread that's just irresistible. And it tastes just as good as it smells.

It's crunchy, flavorful, and, best of all, super quick and easy to make. Also, the prep time is really minimal, and the clean-up is almost nothing - and I'm always a fan of that!

Plus, this recipe uses inexpensive, simple ingredients that you probably already have at home.

    Seriously, what could be better?

Also, this garlic bread recipe is a great choice when you're cooking for the family. And it works particularly well alongside meat, so I recommend pairing it with this huli huli chicken or Qdoba chicken. You could even spread the topping from this vietnamese shrimp toast on top of it.

By the way, if you want some ideas for other sides to pair with it if you're having a cookout, try this Instant Pot corn on the cob and air fryer baked potatoes.

Four pieces of garlic bread touching the sides of one another on a white counter. Behind it is half of a white cup filled with garlic butter.

    Ingredients

Essentially all you need is five ingredients - including the seasoning - to make garlic bread that is out of this world delicious.

And, aside from the fresh parsley, just about every ingredient here is something that you should already have in your pantry. Of course, you can use dried parsley in a pinch, but it's well worth the trip to the store to get everything on this list.

Anyway, here's what you'll need to make the perfect garlic bread:

    • 3-4 Bread Slices, halved if they are too big
    • ¼ cup Butter
    • 1 tbsp. Garlic Puree (or minced garlic)
    • 1 tbsp. Fresh parsley, sliced
    • Salt and Pepper

    And that's it!

Honestly, you'd be surprised what you can make from a few slices of bread and a handful of common ingredients. I actually use the same garlic butter combo for this air fryer mahi mahi, so if you like garlic butter, you'll want to check that out next!

A few slices of bread, a bowl of garlic, a bowl of melted butter, and a brush all on a baking sheet on a white counter.

    Bread Options to Try

So, this recipe is already pretty tasty on its own, but you could also jazz it up by exploring other bread options.

To start, you could use some sliced ciabatta or sourdough in place of regular bread. Or, if you have it, bread flavored with olives or sun-dried tomatoes to elevate the overall flavor.

Alternatively, you could use a whole baguette. To do that, I recommend cutting a long slice down the entire length of the baguette and then opening the baguette up. Then, you can rub the garlic butter down the insides of both sides of the bread, and roast it at 350°F until it's nice and golden brown.

    How to Make Garlic Bread

Like I said before, you can make this garlic bread in just 15 minutes - or as fast as 5 minutes with the air fryer.

It's honestly amazing how delicious this garlic bread is, considering how simple it is to make. I mean, you can pop it in the oven while the rest of your meal is finishing up and have it piping hot and ready to go right before it's time to eat.

Not to mention, this recipe is perfect if you're short on time or need a quick appetizer or side dish for your guests. It's bound to be a hit with anybody you serve it to.

Now, gather up the ingredients, and let's make some garlic bread!

Three slices of bread cut in half with garlic butter spread on top. Amazon a white counter and behind the pan is empty bowl that the garlic butter was in.

Step 1: Making the Garlic Butter

First things first preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180ºC).

Then, melt the butter in a pan and add the garlic puree, fresh parsley, and, of course, salt and pepper.

And for super fragrant garlic bread, cook everything on medium for about a minute before removing it from the heat.

Two pieces of garlic bread putting half on top of a baking sheet. There is half of another piece of garlic bread on top of some of it and another piece on the edge of the pan with a bowl filled with the garlic butter in front of it.

    Step 2: Baking the Bread

Now, on a baking tray, layer the bread slices and brush them liberally with butter using a pastry brush - don't be shy now!

Then, all you need to do is pop them in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Finally, serve the garlic bread warm as an appetizer or on the side with your favorite main dish and enjoy!

    How to store garlic bread

This garlic bread is so delicious that if you're serving it for dinner, I doubt that there will be any leftovers.

But if you do save a slice or two, you can store the bread in an airtight container or tightly wrapped in plastic wrap or tin foil at room temperature for up to 2 days.

And if you want to warm it back up, just put it in the oven at 350°F for about 5-10 minutes or util warm. Alternatively, you can put it in a pan on the stovetop for about 5-10 minutes over low heat.

    Wrapping It All Up

Well, that is how to make some garlic bread in no time!

Seriously, this garlic bread recipe is so easy to make and such a crowd-pleaser. Its soft buttery texture and garlicky flavor will have you reaching for one slice after another, guaranteed!

Anyway, I hope you like this indulgent garlic bread recipe as much as I do! If you make it, be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what you think.

By the way, if you want to make some bread from scratch, you have to give Turkish bread or honey wheat a try!
