This Mcdonalds biscuit recipe is so delicious and so easy to make. The biscuits are soft, have a perfect chew to them, and also a sweet buttermilk flavor as well. Plus, maybe best of all, these Mcdonalds biscuits take under 20 minutes to make!

The Best McDonalds Biscuits
McDonalds is known for so many things, but I think their biscuits are one of the best offerings on the menu. They're soft, perfectly chewy, and have a buttermilk flavor that is just to-die-for!
Plus, they are super easy to make in only 20 minutes!
So if you need a quick breakfast, snack, or even side with dinner, these McDonalds biscuits come in clutch.
Honestly, this might be the best copycat McDonalds recipe out there. Well, next to our homemade McGriddle recipe, Egg McMuffin recipe, and breakfast burrito recipe of course.
So if you haven't tried those yet, you'll definitely want to ASAP!
And if you want a complete breakfast, serve these biscuits along with this breakfast sausage and cheesy hash brown casserole.

Ingredients
This McDonalds biscuit recipe is beautifully simple and only requires 5 ingredients.
And if you don't have a few, you can easily pick them up at the grocery store.
Let's check out the simple ingredients you need to make the magic happen:
- 2 Tbsp. Margarine, melted
- 2 Cups Bisquick baking mix
- 2 Tsp. Granulated sugar
- ¼ Tsp. Salt
- ⅔ Cups Buttermilk
Now, my favorite part about these McDonalds biscuits is that you can customize them however you want.
They go great with some jam, honey, nut butter, or just some butter on top.
Honestly, they're so delicious that you don't even need to put anything on them!
But, if you do want to eat them with breakfast, my go-to is making some eggs and this air fryer turkey bacon to go with the biscuits.

How to Make McDonalds Biscuits
Now, as I mentioned earlier, these McDonalds biscuits are as easy as it gets to make.
You don't have to do anything special to the biscuit dough, and the process of making them is simple.
Anyway, let's make some Mcdonald's biscuits!

Step 1: Making The Biscuit Dough
First things first, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Now, take out a large bowl, and add the margarine, Bisquick baking mix, granulated sugar, salt, and buttermilk to it. Then, mix everything until the ingredients are well combined and a dry dough forms. If it's too crumbly, just add a bit of flour to it.
Next, sprinkle flour on a flat surface and put the dough on the floured surface. Then, use a rolling pin to roll the dough until it is about ½ inch thick.

Step 2: Baking The Biscuits
Once the dough is rolled out, use a circular cutter to cut out 6 biscuits.
Then, put each biscuit on a parchment-lined baking sheet, and bake them for about 15 minutes or until golden.
Serve the biscuits with melted butter on top or enjoy however you want!

How To Store Biscuits
This McDonalds biscuit recipe will make about 6 biscuits depending on the size of your round cutter. So if your family is in the kitchen when these come hot out of the oven, they'll probably be gone in a few minutes.
But, if you double the recipe - or manage to save a couple of them - you can store them at room temperature for about 2 days and in the fridge for up to a week.
To store, wrap the biscuits individually in plastic wrap and then transfer them to an airtight container or sealable bag.
Then, if you want to reheat the biscuits, you can either use the oven, microwave, toaster oven, or even on the stovetop!

Wrapping it all up
Well, that is how to make McDonalds biscuits!
They are so soft, light yet perfectly dense, and have a sweet buttermilk flavor that is just to die for.
Not only are these a treat for breakfast, but they're great as a quick snack, or even on the side with dinner! I like to serve them on the side with this chicken and shrimp alfredo.
