The potatoes have the same crispiness and crunchiness as frying potatoes, so they're pretty much like french fries!
And I added an out-of-this-world flavorful seasoning that makes these air fryer potato wedges even better. They're tossed in parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and a little bit of salt and pepper. And the seasoning really gives these potatoes an unmatched flavor so I highly recommend adding it.
By the way, if the taste isn't enough to fall in love with this recipe, you'll love how quick and easy it is to make. All you have to do is cut the potatoes, season them, and then let the air fryer do the rest. Yep, it's that easy.

Ingredients
Now, as far as ingredients go to make these potato wedges it's a pretty small list.
Here is everything you'll need to make air fryer potato wedges:
- 3-5 Small Yukon Gold Potatoes
- ½ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp. Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp. Italian Seasoning
- Salt and Pepper
By the way, you can use any potatoes that you want for this recipe! I used small gold potatoes, but you can use russet potatoes, yellow potatoes, or even sweet potatoes!
And for the best experience, I highly recommend serving them with a side of this ranch dressing for dipping. Don't judge until you try it. It's incredible.
How To Make Air Fryer Potato Wedges
Now, as I mentioned several times already, making potato wedges in the air fryer is super easy and doesn't take long at all.
In just a few simple steps, you'll have flavorful and crispy potatoes everyone will love!
So, get out all of the ingredients, and let's get to it.
Step 1: Preparing the Potatoes
Before doing anything else, preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190°C).
Then, wash the potatoes - either use a brush or your hands to scrub the potatoes and rinse them under cold water.
And you can peel the potatoes if you want, but the skin is what gives them their wonderful crunch.
Once washed, cut the potatoes into wedges. To do this, first cut each potato lengthwise, then put it cut side down and cut again, so you have four wedges. By the way, if your potatoes are larger, you might want to divide them in half.
Now, put the potato wedges in a bowl and cover them with olive oil. Then, add the parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and toss the potatoes until they are thoroughly coated.
Step 2: Cooking and Serving
Now let's crisp up these potato wedges in the air fryer! So, to do that, arrange them in the air fryer basket making sure that the pieces are not overlapping too much - and you might have to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
Then, cook at 375°F (190ºC) for 12 minutes, flipping the potatoes halfway through the cooking time to get them crispy and golden on both sides.
And if you want to make the potatoes even crispier, cook them for 1-2 minutes longer on both sides.
Now, once the potato wedges have crisped up to golden perfection, take them out of the air fryer and serve either alone or with any dipping sauce you want. Enjoy!
How To Store Cooked Potato Wedges
These potato wedges air fryer cooked are best enjoyed right after they're cooked, but if you don't finish all of them off, they're pretty darn good leftover.
If you have any leftovers, just put them in an airtight container, and they'll last in the fridge for 3 days.
And to keep them for longer, you can freeze the potatoes for up to 3 months.
Reheating Potato Wedges
Having some leftovers to heat up is super convenient when you're short on time.
To reheat the refrigerated or frozen potato wedges, I think the best way to bring back the crispiness is by tossing them back in the air fryer.
So, heat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and put the potatoes in for a couple of minutes or until they reach your desired temperature. And you'll want to add some more time for the frozen potatoes.
Wrapping It All Up
So, now you know how to cook potato wedges air fryer style.
I might be biased, but I think this is the best way to cook potatoes. They come out crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and take minimal time and effort. So, next time you need a snack, appetizer, or side, give this recipe a try!
