Why This Is The Best No Bake Oreo Pie
Who doesn’t love Oreos? They’re the most iconic cookie in the world for a reason — and this pie takes everything you love about them and transforms it into one easy, no bake dessert. The creamy filling has bits of crushed Oreos in every bite, giving it that classic cookies-and-cream flavor with the perfect mix of smooth and crunchy textures.
What I love most about this Oreo cream pie is how simple it is to make. Traditional pies can take hours with baking, cooling, and chilling — but not this one. You can make it with just a few ingredients, and there’s no oven required. It’s a lifesaver when you need a dessert that's drool-worthy but takes minimal effort.
I first made this no bake Oreo pie when I was hosting a family dinner and needed something quick since I was short on time. I whipped it up the night before, and by the next day, it had set perfectly in the fridge. When I served it, everyone thought it was from a bakery! Now it’s my go-to dessert whenever I’m hosting because it’s foolproof, stress-free, and always a hit with both kids and adults.
Plus, the fact that you can make it ahead of time is a huge win. Hosting can be chaotic, and having a dessert that’s already done (and tastes even better chilled) makes life so much easier. If you’re as obsessed with Oreos as I am, this pie is going to be your new favorite dessert. It’s rich, creamy, and dangerously good — basically a cross between a no bake Oreo cheesecake and the world’s best cookies and cream pie.
And if you love this recipe, you’ve got to try my Mississippi mud pie — it also uses a homemade Oreo crust and has the same rich, chocolatey flavor that keeps everyone coming back for seconds.

Oh, and if you're grabbing Oreos from the store, you'll want to make sure you get a party size pack so you can make these Oreo balls, air fryer Oreos, deep fried Oreos, 2 ingredient Oreo mug cake, and Oreo cupcakes next!

How to Make No Bake Oreo Pie

Step 1: Crush the Oreos
First, you're going to start by making the homemade Oreo crust.
To do this, add 24 Oreos and melted butter to a food processor and pulse until the Oreos are fine crumbs, almost like a sandy texture.
Alternatively, if you don't have a food processor, you can add the Oreos to a Ziploc bag and crush them with whatever kitchen tool you want until you have fine crumbs. Then add the finely crushed Oreos to a bowl and mix them with the butter.
Now, to make the Oreo filling, you'll want to add the 12 Oreos to a bag and use a rolling pin to crush the Oreos. You'll want to make these are more like chopped Oreos - instead of crumbs - so you have pieces of cookie in the rich Oreo filling.

Step 2: Make the Oreo Pie Crust
Next, you will make the Oreo pie crust. To do this, grease a 9-inch pie dish and pour the Oreo crumbs into it.
Then, using the back side of a measuring cup or spoon, flatten the Oreo crumbs into the pie dish until they form a solid pie crust on the bottom of the pie pan. Place the pie crust in the refrigerator while you prepare the pie filling.

Step 3: Make the Oreo Pie Filling
To make the Oreo filling, add the whipping cream to a large mixing bowl and whip it with an electric mixer until it doubles in volume and forms stiff peaks.
Next, add the crushed Oreos and sugar into the whipped Oreo pie filling and fold them in with a rubber spatula to combine.
Once the pie filling is just combined, remove the pie crust from the fridge, pour the pie filling on top of the Oreo crust, and smooth it out with a rubber spatula.

Step 4: Refrigerate and Serve
Finally, you're going to refrigerate this no bake Oreo pie for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Then, once it chills, cut into about 8 slices, serve with a dollop of homemade whipped cream on top, and finish each piece off with a sprinkle of Oreo crumbs. Enjoy!

No Bake Oreo Pie FAQs
Can I make Oreo pie ahead of time?
Yes! This is one of the best make-ahead desserts you can make. Prepare the Oreo crust and creamy filling, then cover and refrigerate for at least 4–6 hours or overnight. The chilling time allows the filling to firm up and makes slicing much easier. It’s perfect for holidays, birthdays, or parties when you want dessert ready to go in advance.
How long does no bake Oreo pie last?
Your Oreo pie will stay fresh for up to 4–5 days when stored in the refrigerator, tightly covered with plastic wrap or in an airtight container. The crust softens slightly over time but still tastes deliciously rich and chocolatey.
Can I freeze Oreo pie?
Absolutely. Freeze the fully assembled pie—without any whipped cream topping—for up to 2 months. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and foil to prevent freezer burn. When you’re ready to serve, thaw overnight in the fridge. It tastes just as creamy and smooth as the day you made it.
How do I make the filling extra creamy?
Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing. Cold cream cheese can leave lumps and prevent the filling from getting smooth and airy. Beat the cream cheese well before folding in the whipped topping or heavy cream.
Can I use Cool Whip instead of whipping cream?
Yes! You can use Cool Whip as an easy substitute for homemade whipped cream in this Oreo pie. It gives the filling that same light, fluffy texture with a slightly sweeter flavor. If you’re short on time, Cool Whip is super convenient—just thaw it in the fridge before folding it with the Oreos.
Can I use a store-bought Oreo crust?
Yes, a pre-made Oreo crust works perfectly and saves time. If you prefer homemade, pulse Oreos and melted butter in a food processor and press into your pie pan—it’s richer and I've found it holds together better.
How do I decorate Oreo pie?
For a bakery-style finish, top your pie with whipped cream swirls around the edges and sprinkle on crushed Oreo pieces or mini Oreos. You can also drizzle chocolate or caramel sauce over the top for an extra decadent touch.
What’s the difference between Oreo pie and Oreo cheesecake?
A no bake Oreo pie is lighter and fluffier because it’s made with whipped topping or whipped cream, while a no bake Oreo cheesecake is denser and richer from using more cream cheese. Both have that cookies-and-cream flavor you can’t resist!
