The Best Cream Cheese Fruit Dip

This super easy cream cheese fruit dip is the perfect pairing for all sorts of fresh fruit, crackers, and cookies, and it makes for the perfect party snack too. Honestly, this dip could make anything taste good!

It's incredibly rich, smooth, and creamy, with a lightly sweet flavor that is just so, so addicting. Trust me, even the pickiest of eaters will have no problem eating a healthy serving of fruit if you serve it up with this cream cheese fruit dip. My 2-year-old is proof of that.

The best part about this recipe though - besides how delicious it is - is how quick and easy it is to make. As I already mentioned, just 1 minute is all you'll need to make. You literally just combined the ingredients to form them into a smooth consistency and serve it!

By the way, if you want to give some other dessert dips a try, I highly recommend making this s'mores dip and this Dunkaroo dip. Either one is great to serve alongside this fruit dip for a decadent sweet option.

    Ingredients

This fruit dip recipe is made with just a few common ingredients. In fact, they're all kitchen staples so there's a good chance you have most - if not all - of them at home already.

Anyway, here's everything that you'll need to make this fruit dip recipe:

    • 4 oz. cream cheese, room temperature (full fat cream cheese or low fat cream cheese will work)
    • ¼ cup powdered sugar
    • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
    • Serve with fresh fruit, crackers, and cookies

    Super simple stuff, right?!

By the way, you can use almost all of these ingredients to make these mini cheesecake bites! So, if you're hosting and want something to serve with this fruit dip, you might want to give those a shot too.

Oh, and if you want a savory dip, you can use cream cheese to make this cream cheese dip.

An assortment of ingredients including bowls of fresh raspberries, blackberries, cream cheese, tangerines, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Some of the ingredients are on top of a wooden board, others are on the counter.

How To Make Cream Cheese Fruit Dip

As I've mentioned a few times, this cream cheese fruit dip recipe is a breeze to put together.

Honestly, it only takes a minute - or two - to make this whipped cream cheese fruit dip. Then, you can serve it immediately or chill it in the fridge. That means you can whip it up as a quick after-school snack or right before guests come over!

Anyway, I know you're hungry, so let's stop wasting time and make this cream cheese fruit dip!

A clear mixing bowl with a spoon and the bowl is filled with powdered sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla extract, none of which has been mixed together.

    Step 1: Mix The Ingredients

You have a couple of options when it comes to making your whipped cream cheese fruit dip. You can use either a large bowl and a whisk, a stand mixer, or a food processor. It's really up to you, but the food processor and stand mixer will obviously take less time than whipping it by hand.

Anyway, you'll want to add the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to a bowl - or food processor. Then, give everything a good mix until the cream cheese is smooth and fully combines with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract.

Just keep in mind that no matter which method you use, you might have to stop halfway through to scrape down the sides of your bowl.

By the way, if you notice that your fruit dip is lumpy, it's likely because your cream cheese wasn't soft enough before you blended it. To fix this, simply let your cream cheese dip sit at room temperature until it has softened enough to blend smoothly.

Step 2: Serve The Cream Cheese Fruit Dip

So, now that you've mixed the cream cheese fruit dip, you can either serve it immediately or refrigerate it for an hour so it can chill and thicken.

Then, as soon as you're ready to serve it you can transfer the fruit dip to a serving bowl and put out a plate of fresh fruit, graham crackers, or any of the other dipping options I listed below next to it. Enjoy!

What To Serve With Fruit Dip

This fruit dip has such a divine creamy texture that you could honestly just eat it with a spoon. But, of course, it tastes delicious with a variety of things dipped in it.

If you need some ideas, here are some of my favorite things to dip in it:

    • Fresh fruit like strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, kiwis, tangerines, and apples
    • Ladyfingers
    • Graham crackers
    • Pretzels
    • Ritz crackers
    • Nill wafer cookies

How To Store Cream Cheese Fruit Dip

This recipe for cream cheese fruit dip will make 1 large bowl of dip. Honestly, it's always gone in minutes whenever I serve it, so you might want to make a double or even triple batch.

Anyway, if you happen to have any of this cream cheese fruit dip leftover, you can transfer it to an airtight container and keep it in the fridge for up to 4 days.

Then, whenever you're craving some cream cheese dip, just grab a bowl and anything you want to dip in it and enjoy!

    Wrapping It Up

Well, that's how to make cream cheese fruit dip with just 3 simple ingredients!

Honestly, if you've never tried making a sweet and creamy cream cheese fruit dip before, then you need to give this recipe a try! It's the perfect balance of sweet and creamy and practically goes well with everything!

I love putting this out whenever I'm hosting since there's something for everyone, and it's equally as delicious as a snack as it is as a dessert.

Anyway, I hope you like this fruit dip recipe with cream cheese as much as I/we do.
