    Vegan at Starbucks

Starbucks is by far the most popular coffee shop in the world and it is known for its wide variety of drinks that have a sense of luxury to them.

There is just an ambiance to Starbucks that can turn any day into a good day. And if you're like me and look forward to their tasty drinks, you need to have a full Starbucks vegan selection.

This list has every possible dairy free drink you can order and tips on how to turn the original drink into a vegan Starbucks drink!

Non Vegan Things to Avoid at Starbucks

Before we get into our list, let's go over the things in drinks that you will want to avoid at Starbucks.

    • Cinnamon Dolce Topping
    • Whipped Cream
    • Caramel Sauce
    • Dark Caramel Sauce
    • Frappuccino Chips
    • Pistachio Sauce
    • White Chocolate Mocha Sauce
    • Chai Tea Concentrate
    • Pumpkin Spice Sauce (Seasonal)
    • Caramel Brulee Sauce (Seaonal)

Now, the White Chocolate Mocha Sauce and Pistachio Sauce make up the entire drink, so you will want to stay away from any White Chocolate drinks and Pistachio drinks.

The Cinnamon Dolce Topping is in every Cinnamon Dolce Drink. But you can still order these drinks with the Cinnamon Dolce Syrup - just make sure you ask for no Cinnamon Dolce topping.

If you want to order a caramel drink, the Caramel Syrup is vegan, and the Caramel Sugar Topping is vegan. Just make sure to ask for no Whipped Cream and no Caramel Sauce.

The Chai Tea Concentrate has honey in it and it is only in the Chai Tea Latte and Iced Chai Tea Latte - the regular brewed Chai Tea is vegan friendly.

    Vegan Starbucks Syrups

If you're a regular Starbucks goer, you probably know that you can add any simple syrup to your drink.

And the good news is, from what I found, every single one is vegan.

Here are all the Vegan Starbucks Syrups:

    • Caramel
    • Cinnamon Dolce
    • Sugar free Cinnamon Dolce
    • Hazlenut
    • Irish Cream
    • Peppermint
    • Pineapple Ginger
    • Brown Sugar
    • Raspberry
    • Toffee Nut
    • Vanilla
    • Sugar free Vanilla

So if you want to add a little flavor to your drink, pick one of these vegan-friendly simple syrups.

    Starbucks Vegan Coffee Drinks

All of these drinks fall under the hot coffees section at Starbucks. If you are a traditional coffee drinker or love a hot drink on a cold day, you'll find your go-to vegan Starbucks drink.

    1. Cafe Americano

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks vegan caffe Americano

A Cafe Americano is just brewed espresso and water, so it is already a vegan drink.

If you want to add a little something to this drink, you can order it with a splash of oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

    2. Blonde Roast

The blonde roast is Starbucks mellow, lightly roasted coffee.

If you prefer your coffee with some creaminess, add in oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

And feel free to give it a little flavor by adding one of the syrups.

    3. Caffè Misto

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks caffe Misto

The Caffè Misto is a one to one combination of fresh-brewed coffee and steamed milk.

Make sure to substitute milk for either oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

    4. Dark Roast Coffee

Starbucks classic brewed coffee, the Dark Roast, is a full-bodied roast with a more bold flavor.

You can add in a splash of oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

Since this is a stronger coffee, I like to sweeten it up with some sugar or stevia in the raw. And you can also add a syrup in for extra flavor.

    5. Pikes Place Roast

The Pikes Place Roast is Starbucks original brewed coffee - it has a smooth blend with subtly rich flavors of chocolate and toasted nuts.

Just like the other brewed coffees add some creaminess with one of the plant-based milk options and add a little flavor with a syrup.

    6. Cappuccino

A hand holding a cup of vegan Starbucks cappuccino.

This is a classic Cappuccino with espresso under a thick layer of milk foam.

Make it vegan by substituting the milk for oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

    7. Flat White

A Flat White is smooth ristretto shots of espresso with steamed whole milk.

Since whole milk is used in this drink, I suggest substituting it with oat milk to add the same creaminess. But you can also substitute the whole milk with any non dairy milk.

    8. Caffe Latte

The caffe latte has a dark, rich espresso balanced with steamed milk and a light layer of foam.

Just substitute the milk for oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk and you've got yourself one tasty vegan drink.

    9. Blonde Vanilla Latte

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks vegan café blonde vanilla latteA hand holding Starbucks vegan caffe blonde vanilla latte

The Blonde Vanilla Latte combines Blonde Espresso with steamed milk and vanilla syrup.

This drink is perfect if you prefer a lighter roasted coffee and love a little vanilla flavor.

Make sure you substitute the milk with oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk to make a classic vegan Starbucks drink.

    10. Caramel Brûlée Latte

The Caramel Brûlée Latte is a seasonal drink at Starbucks that is offered during the holidays between November and January. The drink is signature espresso, steamed, milk, caramel brûlée sauce and a caramel brûlée topping.

For the vegan versions, ask for no caramel brûlée sauce, no whipped cream, and substitute milk for oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

Pro Tip: Add in a pump of caramel syrup to replace the caramel brûlée sauce.

    11. Pumpkin Spice Latte

The Pumpkin Spice Latte is another seasonal drink that is typically offered in the months of September and October. This latte is signature espresso and steamed milk with pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove flavors - so pretty much fall in a cup.

To make the pumpkin spice latte vegan, order it with no pumpkin pie spice sauce, no whipped cream, and substitute milk for oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

    HOT TEAS and DRINKS

The next section of vegan Starbucks drinks is hot teas and other hot drinks that Starbucks offers.

If you prefer hot drinks but aren't a coffee fan or are looking for some drinks with less caffeine, this section is for you!

    12. Matcha Green Tea Latte

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks vegan Matcha green tea latte.

Matcha Green Tea Latte is one of my favorite vegan drinks at Starbucks.

This latte has smooth and creamy match sweetened and topped with steamed milk.

I prefer to substitute the milk for almond milk in this drink, but you can also have any other non dairy milk.

    13. Royal English Breakfast Tea Latte

This hot tea is a blend of black teas sweetened with cane sugar and topped with steamed milk and foam.

Just make sure to substitute the milk with oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

    14. London Fog Tea Latte

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks vegan London fog tea latte.

The London Fog Tea Latte is a frothy take on a classic Earl Gray tea. If you like Earl Gray, this drink is delicious.

It has Italian Bergamot blends with subtle hints of lavender, vanilla syrup, and steamed milk.

To make this vegan, substitute the milk with oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

    15. Caramel Apple Spice

The Caramel Apple Spice is steamed apple juice with cinnamon dolce syrup.

Now, this drink also comes with whipped cream and caramel sauce, but you will want to ask for no whipped cream and no caramel sauce to make it vegan friendly.

Pro Tip: Ask for one pump of caramel syrup to replace the caramel sauce.

And if you want just plain steamed apple juice, Starbucks also has a Steamed Apple Juice drink.

    16. Hot Chocolate

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks vegan hot chocolate.

This classic winter drink combines steamed milk with mocha sauce. And luckily the mocha sauce at Starbucks is vegan because it is so good in this hot chocolate.

Around the holidays, I like to add in a pump of peppermint syrup for a total winter flavor.

Make sure when you order a hot chocolate to ask for no whip cream, and substitute the milk for oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

    Vegan Starbucks Frappuccinos

Next up is all the vegan Starbucks Frappuccino blended beverages.

Blended frappuccinos are such a treat - I mean, some of them are basically dessert in a cup.

And Starbucks has so many frappuccino options to choose from, and you can almost turn every single one of them vegan.

    17. Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks vegan mocha cookie crumble Frappuccino.

The first Frappuccino is my all time favorite - the Mocha Cookie Crumble. This delicious drink has Frappuccino Roast coffee blended with milk, ice, and layers of mocha sauce and chocolate cookie crumbles.

Make sure you order it with no whipped cream and no frappuccino chips. And substitute the milk with oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

Pro Tip: You can't take the frappuccino chips off on the app, so you have to order this drink in person.

    18. Espresso Frappuccino

The Espresso Frappuccino is coffee combined with a shot of espresso and milk blended with ice.

If you need a little extra pick me up, this is a great drink to get. Just make sure to substitute the milk with oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

    19. Caffe Vanilla Frappuccino

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks vegan caffe vanilla Frappuccino

The Caffe Vanilla Frappuccino is roast coffee and vanilla bean powder combined with milk and ice.

This drink literally tastes like vanilla bean ice cream in coffee form - it's so so good.

Ask for no whipped cream and oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk instead of regular milk.

    20. Coffee Frappuccino

This is simply coffee blended with milk and ice. For an original blended frappuccino, order this drink and make it vegan by substituting the milk for oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

And you can jazz it up by adding in your favorite syrup flavor.

    21. MOCHA FRAPPUCCINO

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks vegan mocha Frappuccino.

This drink is essentially the mocha cookie crumble frappuccino but without the cookies.

Order this with no whipped cream and non dairy milk instead of regular milk.

    22. Caramel Ribbon Crunch

If you love caramel, the Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino is heaven in a cup. This drink has coffee, milk, and ice blended together with a caramel sugar topping.

Now, you have to take a few things off this drink to make it vegan, but I have a tip to make it just as delicious.

For the vegan version, order it with no whipped cream, no caramel sauce, no dark caramel sauce, and substitute milk with oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

Pro Tip: Add in a few pumps of caramel syrup.

    23. Matcha Green Tea Creme Frappuccino

This is another delicious match drink at Starbucks - it is a blend of sweetened matcha green tea with milk and ice.

Make this vegan by asking for no whipped cream and substitute the milk with oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

    24. Strawberry Creme Frappuccino

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks vegan strawberry creme Frappuccino

This fruity frappuccino is a blend of ice, milk, and strawberry puree.

If you want summer in a cup, this drink is perfect - just order it with no whipped cream and substitute the milk with any non dairy milk.

    25. Vanilla Bean Creme Frappuccino

The Vanilla Bean Creme Frappuccino has a creamy blend of vanilla bean, milk, and ice.

For a caffeine-free vegan vanilla drink, substitute the milk for non dairy milk and ask for no whipped cream.

    Vegan Starbucks Iced Coffee

This cold iced drinks section is my favorite one at Starbucks. I love cold coffee drinks, and these vegan options just knock it out of the park.

This section will include all of the cold coffee options that Starbucks has and how to turn them vegan.

    26. Reserve Nitro Cold Brew

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks vegan nitro cold brew.

The Reserve Nitro Cold Brew is Starbucks Reserve cold brew infused with nitrogen. I love how smooth this drink is and that is has a subtle, naturally sweet flavor.

The nitrogen infusion makes this drink high in caffeine, so if you need a big boost of energy, this nitro cold brew is perfect.

And since this drink is just coffee, it is already vegan, and no substitutions are needed.

    27. Cold Brew Coffee With Plant Milk

Starbucks cold brew coffee with a splash of non dairy milk instead of milk is a classic vegan drink.

And you can elevate the flavor by adding a vegan friendly simple syrup, and sweetened it up with stevia or sugar in the raw.

    28. Iced Caffe Americano

Like the regular Americano, the iced version is just espresso and cold water, so it comes vegan already.

If espresso is too strong of a flavor for you, add in a splash of oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

    29. Iced Coffee with Plant Milk

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks vegan iced coffee.

This iced beverage is Starbucks Iced Coffee Blend, and it comes with milk and a few pumps of classic syrup.

Make sure you substitute the milk for oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

Pro Tip: Substitute the classic syrup for your favorite syrup flavor to elevate this traditional iced coffee.

    30. Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso

This is a new drink to Starbucks cold coffee lineup, and it is out of this world delicious.

This shaken espresso is Starbucks Blonde espresso, brown sugar, and cinnamon combined with oat milk and ice.

And the best part is this drink comes vegan as is, so you don't have to ask for any substitutions!

Pro Tip: This is a popular drink right now, so check and see if the Starbucks location you are going to has it on the app before driving there.

    31. Iced Chocolate Almond Milk Shaken Espresso

This is another new vegan Starbucks drink - it is Starbucks Blonde espresso with a cocoa malt, shaken together with almond milk and ice for a deliciously creamy, chocolaty flavor.

And like the shaken espresso above, this drink is already vegan and does not need any substitutions!

    32. Iced Shaken Espresso

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks vegan iced shaken espresso.

Now, if you want just a classic shaken espresso, this chilled full-bodied espresso will do the trick. The foam that comes on top of this drink is on point.

This Iced Shaken Espresso comes with milk in it, so make sure you ask for non dairy milk.

    33. Nitro Flat White

The Nitro Flat White is ristretto shots of espresso with a creamy nitrogen-infused whole milk.

Since this drink comes with whole milk, I recommend substituting it with oat milk to keep it as creamy as possible. But you can also substitute the whole milk with soy, almond, or coconut milk.

    34. Iced Flat White

The Iced Flat White is the exact same thing as the Nitro Flat White, but without the infused nitrogen.

So, just make the same plant-based milk substitution for the whole milk to make it vegan.

    35. Reserved Iced Latte

This is Starbucks Reserve espresso with milk, served over ice.

Just substitute the milk for oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

    36. Iced Caffe Latte

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks vegan iced Caffe latte

The Iced Caffe Latte is a dark, rich espresso combined with milk and ice.

To make this vegan, you can substitute the milk for any non dairy milk.

    37. Iced Blonde Vanilla Latte

A few pumps of vanilla syrup, Starbucks Blonde Espresso, milk, and ice make this sweet vanilla-flavored drink.

All you have to do to make it vegan is substitute the milk for oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

    38. Iced Caffe Mocha

The Iced Caffe Mocha is a full-bodied espresso with mocha sauce, milk, and ice

Make sure to order it with no whipped cream and any non dairy milk instead of milk.

    39. ICED CINNAMON DOLCE LATTE

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks vegan iced cinnamon dolce latte.

The last drink in the cold coffee section is one of the most popular drinks at Starbucks, definitely one of my personal favorites. The Iced Cinnamon Dolce Latte is a classic espresso over ice with steamed milk and cinnamon dolce flavored syrup.

You can make this drink vegan and still get the delicious cinnamon dolce flavor - all you have to do is ask for no whipped cream, no cinnamon dolce topping, and substitute the milk for oat, soy, almond, or coconut milk.

Oh, and if you want to make this drink sugar-free, just ask for the sugar-free cinnamon dolce syrup.

    Starbucks Vegan Fruity/Tea Cold Drinks

Along with the cold coffee-based drinks, Starbucks has a ton of fruity cold drink options and iced tea options.

And there's nothing better on a hot day than an iced tea or chilled fruit-flavored drink.

Plus, what's great about these drinks is the majority of them are made with non dairy milk and are already vegan just the way they come!

    40. Iced Guava Passionfruit Drink

A hand holding Starbucks vegan iced guava passionfruit.

The first fruity drink in this section is guava juice blended with passion fruit and shaken with pineapple, ginger, coconut milk, and ice.

Since coconut milk is used in the Guava Passionfruit Drink, you don't have to substitute anything.

And let's be real, this drink just looks so refreshingly delicious.

    41. Iced Pineapple Matcha Drink

This drink is matcha green tea shaken with pineapple and ginger along with coconut milk and ice.

And again, since coconut milk is used, no substitutions are needed.

    42. Pink Drink

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks vegan pink drink.

The Pink Drink has to be the most visually appealing drink that Starbucks makes. The bright pink color with freeze dried strawberries just makes the drink look so satisfying.

This drink is made up of Strawberry Acai Refresher with passion fruit and creamy coconut milk.

You can enjoy this already vegan drink as it comes since it is made with non dairy milk.

    43. Star Drink

Continuing our cold vegan drinks is the Star Drink. It has a combination of starfruit and kiwi juice, kiwi fruit pieces, and coconut milk shaken with ice.

This fruity, creamy drink is vegan as-is and doesn't need any substitutions.

    44. Violet Drink

A hand holding Starbucks vegan violet drink.

The Violet Drink is another fun-colored drink. This is Starbucks Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher with coconut milk, ice and freeze dried blackberries.

And like the previous drinks, you can drink it just like it comes without making any substitutions.

    45. Dragon Drink

The last drink, like the ones above, is the Dragon Drink. This is a tropical drink with a combination of sweet mango and dragonfruit, shaken with coconut milk, ice, and a scoop of diced dragonfruit.

Enjoy it just how it comes with coconut milk.

    46. Pineapple Coconut Green Smoothie

The Pineapple Coconut Green Smoothie is the only smoothie that Starbucks offers to order - it is pineapple, toasted coconut, kale, and spinach blended with ice and coconut milk.

And this healthy smoothie is made with non dairy milk, so you don't have to substitute anything!

    47. Refreshers Drinks at Starbucks

Starbucks offers a variety of vibrant looking, deliciously refreshing Refreshers.

The Refreshers are all fruit-based caffeine drinks that are 100% vegan, and you can order them just how they come!

The flavors offered are Kiwi Starfruit, Kiwi Starfruit Lemonade, Mango Dragonfruit, Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade, Strawberry Acai Lemonade, Very Berry Hibiscus Lemonade, Strawberry Acai, and Very Berry Hibiscus.

    48. Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks vegan macha green tea creme Frappuccino

Kicking off the vegan tea drinks is another matcha green tea drink. This Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte is the same as the hot latte - it is sweetened matcha and served with milk, but it is blended with ice.

You will have to substitute the milk for non dairy milk when you order.

    49. Iced London Fog Tea Latte

Similar to an Earl Gray Tea, this drink is a bergamot blend with vanilla syrup, ice, and milk.

Substitute the milk for almond milk, soymilk, coconut milk, or oat milk.

    50. Iced Royal English Breakfast Tea Latte

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks vegan iced royal English breakfast tea latte

The Iced Royal English Breakfast Tea Latte is a blend of black teas combined with milk and sweetened with liquid cane sugar.

If you are a black tea drinker, this creamy iced tea drink will hit the spot.

Like the tea iced tea latter above, substitute the milk for any non dairy milk.

    51. Iced Tea Options

Starbucks offers a ton of iced teas that you can order. There are so many fun flavors to choose from, and all of them are vegan!

The ice tea flavors are Guava Black Tea, Guava Black Tea Lemonade, Black Tea, Black Tea Lemonade, Peach Green Tea, Peach Green Tea Lemonade, Green Tea, Green Tea Lemonade, Matcha Lemonade, Passion Tango Tea, and Passion Tango Tea Lemonade.

Now, the only iced tea that is not vegan friendly is the Chai Tea Latte because the Chai Tea Concentrate has honey in it.

    Wrapping It All Up

And there you have it, everyone - a full list with all of the possible Starbucks vegan drinks and other essential information.

I hope this list helps you with how to order vegan at Starbucks.
