Million Dollar Chicken Casserole Recipe

This million dollar chicken casserole is smothered in a cheesy cream sauce kicked up with sour cream and spices. Then it's covered in crushed up Ritz crackers and baked until it's hot, bubbly, and insanely delicious. 



4½ cups chopped cooked chicken

4- oz cream cheese, room temperature

1 cup cottage cheese

½ cup sour cream

1 (10.75-oz) can cream of chicken soup

¼ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp dried onion powder

1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed

5 Tbsp butter, melted


  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF (180°C). Lightly spray a 9×9-inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Combine chicken, cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and cream of chicken soup in a bowl. Mix to combine then spread into the prepared pan.
  3. Combine crushed crackers and butter in a bowl, then sprinkle over chicken mixture.
  4. Bake uncovered for 30 to 40 minutes.
