Ok, so all you need for this recipe are the ham steaks and a couple of pantry staples for the glaze.
And if you already keep ham steaks in your freezer, then you most likely have everything you need for this recipe already!

- 4 tbsp. butter, melted

How to Make Air Fryer Ham Steaks
As I said before, this recipe really couldn't be easier.
It only takes around 15 minutes from start to finish, and most of that is cook time!
The air fryer literally does almost all of the work for you.
All you have to do is flip and baste in between cooking intervals and you're done.
It also doesn't take a lot of equipment, so cleaning up afterward will be quick and easy. Perfect for the end of a busy day.
Now, without further ado, let's grab our ham and get frying!
Step 1: Prepare the Ham Steak
First, preheat your air fryer to 375ºF (190ºC).
While the air fryer is preheating, you can get started with the brown sugar glaze.
Mix the brown sugar and melted butter together in a bowl and set it aside for later. We'll baste the ham with this glaze as it air fries.
Step 2: Air Fry the Ham Steaks
Now it's time for basting and frying!
Lay the ham steak in the air fryer basket beside one another. Brush it liberally with half of the brown sugar and butter mixture on one side.
Then, air fry the steak for 10-12 minutes.
Halfway through the cooking time, open the air fryer basket, flip the ham steak, and brush the other side with the rest of the brown sugar butter. Now, close the air fryer and let the ham steak air fry the rest of the way to air fried perfection.
Once it's ready, remove the glazed ham steak from the air fryer basket, serve with your favorite side, and enjoy!
Storing and Reheating Your Ham Steak
This air fryer ham steak recipe makes fantastic leftovers and it tastes great both hot and cold. So I definitely recommend making some extra for dinner, lunch, or breakfast the next day.
With that said, you can store the leftover ham steaks in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
To reheat, I suggest popping them in the air fryer at 375ºF (190ºC) for a few minutes to crisp them up. And if you have any basting mixture left, you can give them a little extra for a boost of sweetness.
