    I certainly don't think so.

I mean, all it takes to make air fryer frozen mozzarella sticks is less than 10 minutes, and they're restaurant-quality good!

Plus, along with being a quicker, easier, and healthier method than deep-frying, if you cook frozen mozzarella sticks in the air fryer they turn out perfect every time. At least they will if you follow the steps below they will.

By the way, if you're looking for something sweet to go along with these mozzarella sticks, try making these air fryer cinnamon rolls afterwards.

    Ingredients

So, to make frozen mozzarella sticks in air fryer, you only really need one ingredient, and I bet you can guess what that is.

But, here's everything you might want to use when you make them:

    • Frozen Mozzarella Sticks
    • ½ cup Marinara Sauce (optional)
    • Cooking Spray

Oh, and if you want to make mozzarella sticks from scratch, check out this Gluten Free & Low Carb Mozzarella Sticks Recipe. You can also cook them in the air fryer too.

The Best Frozen Mozzarella Sticks To Use

Now, there are plenty of frozen mozzarella sticks to choose from at the grocery store, and honestly, it can be overwhelming to pick the right ones.

I used the Snapps Mozzarella Sticks to make this air fryer recipe. I just love the breading to cheese ratio, and I think they are the ideal mozzarella sticks. You can buy them at Walmart, so if you have one by you, give Snapps a try!

Another popular pick is Farm Rich Mozzarella Sticks. They have a super crispy breading with seasoning on it, so if you like breading over cheese, they're a great option! And you can also find these at Walmart.

With that said, any frozen mozzarella sticks you pick will work great!

How to Make Frozen Mozzarella Sticks In Air Fryer

As I've mentioned several times now, the process of making mozzarella sticks in the air fryer is super straightforward, and super easy. In fact, all you need to follow are 2 steps and you're in business.

So, without further adieu, let's go over them.

    Step 1: Prep

First things first preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200°C).

Then, put the frozen mozzarella sticks on a plate and lightly spray them with some cooking spray.

    Step 2: Cooking & Serving

Once the air fryer preheats, put the mozzarella sticks in the air fryer.

You'll want to make sure they are all lying flat and not touching one another. Having a little space will allow the cheese sticks to crisp up to golden perfection more evenly.

Now, let the mozzarella sticks air fry for about 7 minutes, flipping them halfway through. And you'll want to check at about the 5 minute mark to see how they're coming along.

Then, when they've finished cooking, you can serve them immediately!

So, put these ooey-gooey sticks of cheesy goodness on a plate with some marinara sauce and dig in!

    How To Store Mozzarella Sticks

Ok, so this recipe will make as many mozzarella sticks as you want! But typically, 12 come in one frozen package.

And if you have any leftovers - which if you're making these for your kids you won't - you can transfer them to an airtight container and keep them in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Then, to reheat the mozzarella sticks, just put them back in the air fryer for a couple of minutes.

    Wrapping It Up

Well, that is how to make frozen mozzarella sticks in the air fryer. Honestly, I think these are one of the best appetizers, snacks, or meals you can make if you're short on time, or are just craving some crispy and crunchy cheesiness. And the best part is kids will love these just as much as you - so you don't have to prepare two things!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy these air fryer mozzarella sticks as much as I/we do.

If you give them a try, let me know which ones you decided to use, and how you liked them!
