While I always make these sous vide pork loin with the ingredients listed above since I think it tastes best that way, there's definitely some wiggle room for you to swap some ingredients to suit your preferences.
When it comes to swapping the ingredients, you can make small tweaks like substituting table salt for kosher salt, using freshly ground black pepper, swapping minced garlic for garlic powder, and swapping the sugar for brown sugar. If you really want to switch up the flavor, then you can add in fresh herbs like fresh thyme or rosemary, depending on what you have on hand.
How To Make Sous Vide Pork Tenderloin
Now it's almost time to make some sous vide pork tenderloin!
And as I said before, the beauty of the sous vide method is that you barely have to lift a finger to make it. Even if you're new to cooking sous vide pork tenderloin, I assure you it's so, so easy and will turn out perfect.
Anyway, let's stop wasting time and get cooking!
Step 1: Prepare The Pork
First, you'll want to begin by seasoning the pork tenderloin with a little salt and pepper on each side.
Then you can place it in a vacuum seal bag and add the onion and garlic to the bag with the pork. After that, you'll want to remove the air from the bag using a vacuum sealer.
Once you've removed the air from the vacuum bag, you can place the bag and sous vide immersion circulator in a pot or large container full of water and set it to cook at 140°F for 4 hours.
Step 2: Make The Sauce
As soon as the 4 hours are up, you'll want to remove the pork from the sous vide bag and pat it dry with kitchen towels.
Then you can set the cooked pork tenderloin aside and place the soy sauce, lemon, and sugar in a small pot and let it simmer on low for 10 minutes, or until the sauce reduces by half.
Step 3: Sear And Serve
While the sauce is reducing, you can heat a skillet to high heat and add the olive oil to it. Once the pan is hot, cook the pork tenderloin on both sides until it's nicely browned with a crisp sear on the outside.
Finally, you can slice your seared pork loin and serve it with the sauce either on the side or drizzled on top.
Enjoy!
How To Store Sous Vide Pork Tenderloin
This recipe for sous vide pork tenderloin makes 4-6 servings, so it's perfect for a big dinner or to keep and enjoy as leftovers throughout the week.
Speaking of leftovers, you can put the leftover cooked pork tenderloin in an airtight container or wrap them tightly in plastic wrap and then store 'em in a sealed bag in the fridge. Stored either one of those ways, your sous vide pork tenderloin should stay good for about 3-4 days.
Alternatively, if you want your pork loins to last longer, then you can freeze 'em. Simply store the pork in an airtight container in the fridge, and it'll last for up to 3 months. When you're ready to reheat your frozen pork tenderloin, just let it thaw in the fridge overnight first.
How To Reheat Pork Tenderloin
Once you're ready to enjoy this sous vide pork tenderloin again, you can either eat it cold or reheat it first. I think it's best reheated, though. So with that said, to reheat your leftover pork tenderloin, just transfer it to a baking dish and warm it up in an oven at 350°F for around 10-15 minutes or until it's warmed through.
