How to make Cheddar's Croissants
Step 1: Cut the pastry
To start, preheat the oven to 350ºF. Then unfold the puff pastry sheet and lightly dust the top with flour. Next, cut the pastry dough into 8 even triangles.
Step 2: Roll the croissants
Starting at the wider end, roll each triangle of dough up into itself to make a croissant shape. The tip of the triangle should be the last piece to roll up. You can press the triangle tip gently into the pastry, and it will stick.
Step 3: Bake the croissants
Take out a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper. Place the croissants evenly on the prepared baking sheet and bake the croissants for 15-20 minutes or until they're golden brown and flakey.
Step 4: Make the honey butter
While the croissants are baking, place the butter and honey in a small saucepan over low heat. Cook for a few minutes stirring frequently until the butter melts. Then turn off the heat and continue to occasionally stir the honey butter until the croissants are baked.
Step 5: Add the butter and serve
Remove the golden brown croissants from the oven as soon as they're done and allow them to cool for a few minutes before drizzling the warm honey butter over the croissants. Finally, serve and enjoy!

Cheddars Croissants Recipe FAQS
What is the difference between using puff pastry and crescent rolls for this recipe?
Puffy pastry has many more layers than a standard crescent roll. That's why these croissants come out so unbelievably fluffy and flaky. With that said, you can use crescent rolls, and this recipe will be just as delicious.
Do I have to melt the butter with the honey?
You certainly don't need to melt the butter. You can allow the butter to come to room temperature and mash the honey and butter together instead. This will create a thickened butter that you can spread on the warm croissants.
