Texas Roadhouse Seasoned Rice

This Texas Roadhouse rice recipe is even better than the original. It combines fluffy long grain white rice with a blend of spices and savory chicken broth to make the most delicious seasoned rice ever. It's so good, and it works great with all sorts of dishes! 

Ingredients

½ cup butter

2 cups long-grain white rice, rinsed

1 cup yellow onion, diced

2 tbsp. paprika

1 tbsp. dried parsley

1 tbsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. crushed red pepper

5 cups chicken stock (or vegetable stock)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter In a large saucepan over medium-high.
  2. Add rice and saute for about 5-7 minutes until slightly browned.
  3. Add onion, paprika, parsley, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper. Mix until combined.
  4. Add chicken stock, mix, and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until the rice has softened and most of the liquid is absorbed. Serve immediately with fresh parsley.
