These copycat Texas Roadhouse rolls are the fluffiest, most decadent dinner rolls you can make. The rolls have a slightly crisp golden crust, and the inside is like biting into a cloud. Honestly, you'll feel like you're really at the Texas Roadhouse. But, instead of heading to the restaurant, you can make these delicious rolls at home with just a handful of basic ingredients and a few simple steps!



1 package active dry yeast (6g)

¼ cup warm water

¼ cup sugar

1 cup milk

1 egg

2 tbsp. melted butter

4 cups flour

1 tsp. Salt


  1. Mix yeast, warm water, and sugar in a bowl. Let it sit for 10 minutes or until it’s foamy.
  2. Add milk, egg, and melted butter and mix to combine.
  3. Add the flour and salt and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Transfer the dough to a working surface and knead the dough for around 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer it to a greased bowl, top it with a kitchen towel or plastic wrap, and let it proof until it doubles in size.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180ºC).
  7. Once the dough has doubled its size, transfer it back to the working surface and shape it into a log, then divide it into 8 pieces. Roll the dough pieces into balls to make the rolls and arrange them on a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve with cinnamon honey butter.
