This copycat Starbucks chai tea latte recipe combines a blend of spices like cardamom, ginger, and cinnamon with hot, creamy milk to make a drink that's to die for. It's a deliciously cozy drink that tastes just as good as the one from the iconic coffee shop, but it's much, much cheaper. And, best of all, it takes just 5 minutes to make!

Ingredients

Scale

1 Cup boiling water

2 Chai tea bags

1 Cinnamon stick

1 Cup Almond Milk, hot

3 Tbsps Maple Syrup

Cinnamon powder to serve

Instructions

  1. Place the water and maple syrup in a pot and whisk to combine. Bring the water to a boil, and then add the tea bags and cinnamon stick. Let the tea bags steep for 5-10 minutes.
  2. While the tea is brewing, warm the milk. Heat the milk in a saucepan over low heat until it just starts to steam.
  3. Once the tea has been brewed, pour it into a glass or mug followed by the almond milk. For frothy milk, mix with a handheld mixer until foamy, then pour into the tea. Sprinkle cinnamon on top and enjoy!
