This copycat McDonald's Szechuan sauce recipe is just what you need to bring the iconic sweet, spicy, and tangy sauce to life. And, best of all this copycat sauce recipe is so easy to make! In fact, it takes less than 20 minutes to make it.

Ingredients

2 tbsp. Ginger, minced

1 tbsp. Garlic Clove, minced

½ cup Soy Sauce

1 tbsp. Sesame Oil

¼ cup Sugar

2 tbsp. Cornstarch

1 tsp. Schezuan Peppercorns

½ tsp. Coriander

¼ tsp. Black Pepper

1 tsp. Apple Vinegar

1 tbsp. Lime Juice

½ cup Water

Instructions

  1. Toast the peppercorn. And transfer to a mortar to grind them.
  2. Transfer all the ingredients to a pot and mix well. Bring the heat to medium, until you reach a soft boil, and cook for 10 minutes, or until it thickens.
  3. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the fridge for 2 weeks.
