Instant Pot Bread | The Best Way To Make Homemade Bread

This Instant Pot bread recipe makes baking bread at home as easy as can be with no fuss! And it makes the lightest French-style white bread with a soft center and perfectly chewy crust. 



Just under 3 ¾ Cups (400g). All Purpose Flour

1 Packet (7g) Dry Instant Yeast

Just under 1 ½ tsp. (8g) Salt

300g (1 ¼ cup) Water


  1. In a large bowl mix all purpose flour, dry yeast and salt. 
  2. Make a hole in the middle and add the water. Mix with a wooden spoon until fully combined.
  3. Transfer to a working surface and knead for 10 minutes.
  4. Transfer back to the bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let it proof for at least 2 hours, or until it doubles its size.
  5. Place the metal grid attachment in the Instant Pot and add 1/2 cup of water.
  6. Make a ball with the dough and transfer to a greased baking mold (small enough to fit in the Instant Pot).
  7. Place it inside the Instant Pot and cook at low pressure for 50 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 375ºF (190°C). Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
