Hibachi Fried Rice Made In One Pan In 15 Minutes

This hibachi fried rice combines leftover rice with soy sauce, sesame oil, fried eggs, and aromatic veggies to make the most delicious savory Japanese fried rice. And you can have this restaurant-worthy fried rice on the table in under 20 minutes! Talk about a quick and easy dish the whole family is sure to love.

Ingredients

1 tbsp. Sesame Oil

2 Eggs, lightly beaten

1 tbsp. Butter

3 cups Rice, cooked and cooled (day-old rice is best)

1/2 cup Green Onions, sliced

1 tbsp. Ginger, grated

1/2 tbsp. Garlic, grated

2 tbsp. Soy Sauce

1 tsp. Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat a wok to high and add the sesame oil. Add the eggs and cook them fully, set aside.
  2. In the same wok, add the butter and a bit more oil if needed, once it's hot, add the green onions, ginger, and garlic. Sauté for a couple of minutes.
  3. Add the rice and soy sauce to the skillet, mix everything together, and cook for a few minutes. Flatten the rice with a wooden spoon to make a crust on the bottom.
  4. Serve with green onions and sesame seeds.
