These fried jalapenos are crispy, crunchy, and pack a spicy punch. They seriously might become one of your favorite appetizers of all time. Plus, they are so easy to make. All you need is a few basic ingredients and 15 minutes to get these amazing fried jalapenos on the table.

6 fresh jalapeno peppers, sliced into rings

½ cup all-purpose flour

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon paprika

salt and pepper to taste

2 large eggs

4 ounces light beer

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a deep pot to medium-high (180º if you are using a thermometer).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, garlic, paprika, and salt and pepper. Mix well. Add the eggs and the beer and combine until well mixed (like a pancake mix).
  3. In batches, coat the sliced jalapeno peppers in the batter.
  4. Fry the battered peppers for about 5-6 minutes each, turning if needed, until golden.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve.
