Ingredients

7 tbsp. Butter, softened

½ cup Brown Sugar

¼ cup Sugar

1 Egg

1 ⅓ cup All-Purpose Flour

⅓ cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

½ tsp. Baking Soda

A pinch of Salt

½ cup Dark Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF (180°C).
  2. Mix butter and both sugars with a rubber spatula until soft and creamy.
  3. Add the egg and continue mixing to combine.
  4. Add the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt and mix with a wooden spoon or rubber spatula until a dough forms.
  5. Add the chocolate chips and mix until just combined with the dough
  6. Scoop about six 2-tablespoon-sized balls and put them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (you will have to bake in two batches).
  7. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, then bake the other batch. Enjoy!
