These churro cheesecake bars are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth craving. A deliciously sweet and creamy cream cheese filling is hugged by two flakey puff pastry layers that are baked to the perfect crisp. Then, all of that is topped by a cinnamon-sugar mixture that's just a delight to your tastebuds.

1/2 cup Sugar

1 tbsp. Cinnamon

16 oz. cream cheese

1 Egg

1/2 cup Sugar

1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

1 Puff Pastry Dough Sheet

  1. Grab a rectangular mold and cut the dough sheet in two rectangles - one for the bottom and one for the top (usually bigger).
  2. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  3. Combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon powder, set aside.
  4. Using an electric mixer, mix the cream cheese until creamy. Add the other 1/2 cup sugar, egg, and vanilla extract and continue mixing until well incorporated.
  5. Grease the bottom of the mold and distribute half of the sugar-cinnamon mix on on the bottom of it.
  6. Place one of the pastry sheets on top.
  7. Pour all the cream cheese filling on the pastry sheet.
  8. Cover with the other sheet and the rest of the sugar-cinnamon mix.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes, or until golden brown. Let it cool completely.
  10. Slice in bars with a sharp knife and serve.
