With an ultra-velvety cream sauce, succulent garlic-herb grilled chicken, and cheesy tortellini, this asiago tortelloni alfredo is beyond decadent. And this copycat version of the Olive Garden asiago tortelloni alfredo with grilled chicken is insanely easy to make and tastes just like the restaurant!

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts, sliced

2 cups herb & garlic marinade

8 oz dried cheese tortellini

6 tbsp butter

1 tbsp garlic

2 tbsp flour

1.5 cups milk

1.5 cups heavy cream

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated

1/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup mozzarella cheese shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF. 
  2. Marinade the chicken breasts with the herb and garlic marinade for about 30 minutes. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden (depending on how thick your slices are you may need a bit more or less time). 
  3. Cook tortellini according to package instructions.
  4. Melt the butter in a non-stick pot over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes or until fragrant. 
  5. Add the heavy cream, milk, and flour. Mix them together and add the cheese, cook until melted.
  6. Combine the tortellini and the Alfredo sauce in a bowl. Transfer to a baking tray and top with the chicken breast (sliced), breadcrumbs and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Top with fresh parsley.
