FRIED  TOMATOES

INGREDIENTS

– 6 tomatoes – 1 egg – ⅓ cup cornmeal – ⅓ cup flour – ⅓ cup breadcrumbs – 1 tbsp Italian herbs – Freshly grated parmesan to serve with – Salt and pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Slice tomatoes. 2. Mix flour, breadcrumbs, and seasonings in a bowl. Whisk egg in a bowl. 3. Dip tomatoes in egg then breadcrumb mix. 4. Fry in oil until crispy.
