This classic old fashioned baked macaroni and cheese recipe is guaranteed to be a family favorite. It combines al dente elbow macaroni with a rich and decadently creamy cheese sauce that you'll be hooked on after your first bite. Plus, it's so, so easy to make. 3 cups elbow macaroni, cooked

1 ½ tbsp butter, chopped

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 small eggs

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a standard baking dish with some butter.
  2. Add the cooked macaroni to the baking dish and evenly disperse the chopped butter on top. Sprinkle all of the shredded cheese on top of that.
  3. In a bowl, beat eggs with milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture over everything in the baking dish
  5. Bake the macaroni for 40 minutes. Serve warm.
