Keto Banana Bread | The Best Low Carb Banana Bread For Keto

This keto banana bread uses just a few other keto-friendly ingredients and turns out incredibly moist & buttery. And this recipe has all the banana flavor without all the carbs. In fact, it has just over 1 NET CARBS PER SLICE! And maybe even better yet is the fact that this low carb sugar free banana bread makes incredible keto banana muffins too. 

Ingredients

2/3 cup (140g) brown swerve

1 stick butter + 2 tablespoon (140g), room temperature

3 large eggs

1/3 cup (40g) cream cheese

3 tbsps.(15g) coconut flour

1 1/2 cup (180g) almond flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon banana extract

1/3 cup chopped walnuts (optional) 

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C).
  2. Cream the butter, brown Swerve, and cream cheese together with a hand mixer in a large bowl. 
  3. Add the eggs in one at a time while continually mixing. Then pour in the banana extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, add the almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Mix all these ingredients to combine.
  5. Add your dry ingredients to the large bowl of wet ingredients, along with the chopped walnuts, then stir everything together with a rubber spatula.
  6. Take out an 8.5 x 4.5 loaf pan and grease it with nonstick cooking spray or coat it with some butter.
  7. Pour the banana bread batter into the pan. If you have leftover walnuts you can put some on top.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes or until cooked through (if you notice the top starting to brown but the inside isn't cooked, cover the top with foil to help it bake more evenly).
  9. Let your baked banana bread cool for a few minutes then enjoy.
