This 7 layer dip recipe is so good you'll fight for the last bite. It combines refried beans with rotel tomatoes, guacamole, shredded cheese, taco seasoning, and a handful of other ingredients to make the ultimate dip recipe. In addition to tasting delicious though, this layered dip could not be easier to make. In fact, you can have this 7 layer dip prepped and ready to go in less than 10 minutes!

Ingredients

1 cup refried beans

5oz. Rotel tomatoes

½ tbsp taco seasoning

2 small avocados

1 tbsp lime juice

2 tbsp chopped cilantro

¾ cup sour cream or crème fraiche

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

¼ cup sliced black olives

½ cup seeded and diced tomatoes

2-3 tbsp chopped chives or green onions

Salt and pepper, to taste

Tortilla chips to serve with

Instructions

  1. Combine refried beans, Rotel tomatoes, and taco seasoning in a large bowl.
  2. Spread in an even layer into a casserole dish. 
  3. Peel and pit avocados. Mash the avocados with lime juice, salt, and pepper. Stir in chopped cilantro. Spread the avocado over the refried beans.
  4. Whisk sour cream with salt and pepper and spread it over the mashed avocados.
  5. Top the sour cream with chopped tomatoes and olives, add cheddar cheese on top, or go with cheddar and finish off with olives and chopped tomatoes. 
  6. Finally, add chives, green onions, or any toppings you want.
  7. Serve your dip chilled with tortilla chips.
