SAUTEED FROZEN GREEN BEANS

No bland microwaved beans here: cooking them straight from frozen in a hot skillet keeps them firm, while the spices coat every bite. Swipe to make it!

WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS RECIPE

This whole dish takes less than 10 minutes, so it’s one of my favorite ways to get an easy green veggie on the table fast.

INGREDIENTS FOR THE GREEN BEANS

– Olive oil – Frozen green beans – Garlic powder – Paprika – Crushed red pepper flakes – Kosher salt – Freshly ground black pepper – Lemon juice

Warm olive oil in a large skillet or sauté pan over medium-high heat until shimmering.

STEP 1: HEAT THE OIL

STEP 2: ADD THE FROZEN BEANS

Pour the beans straight from the bag into the skillet. Stir briefly to coat them evenly in the oil.

STEP 3: SEASON GENEROUSLY

Sprinkle garlic powder, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper over the beans. Stir to distribute.

STEP 3: SAUTÉ TO TENDER CRISP

Cook 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beans are tender and lightly browned in spots.

STEP 4: FINISH WITH LEMON

Right before serving, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the beans and toss gently. Serve immediately.

PRO TIPS

- Don't thaw the green beans to keep the texture firm - Finish with lemon for a fresh, balanced flavor - Broil with shredded cheese for a cheesy twist
