PASTA FAGIOLI

INGREDIENTS

– 2 tbsp. olive oil – ½ lb. lean ground beef – 1 ½ cups yellow onion – 1 cup carrots – 1 cup celery – 1 tbsp. garlic – 2 cups canned tomato sauce

INGREDIENTS CONTINUED 

– 6 cups chicken broth – 1 cup canned tomatoes – 2 tsp. sugar – 1 tbsp. Italian seasoning – 1 cup dry short pasta – 3 cups beans – Parmesan cheese – 3 tbsp. fresh parsley

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cook beef, set aside. 2.  Add onion and garlic and cook. Add celery and carrots. 3. Mix chicken broth, tomato sauce, water, tomatoes, sugar, Italian herbs, and cooked beef,  4. Boil, cook, mix with pasta.
