WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS RECIPE
Sprite, coconut syrup, and a drop or two of blue food coloring is all it takes to nail Sonic's most iconic drink at home — in about two minutes, for a fraction of the price.
INGREDIENTS
All you need for this recipe is: Sprite or 7UP, Coconut syrup, Blue food coloring, Maraschino cherries or raspberries, and Pebble ice
Fill a large glass generously with pebble ice — the small, chewable nugget ice that Sonic is famous for.
STEP 1: FILL WITH ICE
Pour the Sprite or 7UP over the ice, filling the glass about three quarters of the way. Add the coconut syrup.
STEP 2: ADD THE SODA AND COCONUT SYRUP
Add 1 to 2 drops of blue food coloring and stir until the color is evenly distributed. Start with one drop and add more if you want a more vivid blue.
STEP 3: ADD THE BLUE FOOD COLORING
Drop in a maraschino cherry or a few raspberries if you'd like a little extra color and sweetness on top. Serve immediately while the soda is cold and fizzy
STEP 4: GARNISH AND SERVE
