MEXICAN RED RICE

INGREDIENTS

– 1 cup long grain white rice – ¼ cup olive oil – ¼ diced onion – 1 medium diced garlic clove – 2 cups hot water – ½ cup hot chicken broth – ⅓ cup tomato sauce – 1 tsp. salt

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cook onion and garlic in oil for 7 minutes. 2. Add sauce and rice and cook. 3. Add water, broth, salt. Cook for 12 minutes.
