HAWAIIAN BEEF STEW

INGREDIENTS

– 1 lb beef chuck, cut into cubes – 1 tsp salt – 1 tsp black pepper – ¼ cup AP flour – 1 stalk of celery, diced – 1 carrot, sliced  – 1 large onion, cut into 1 inch pieces

INGREDIENTS, CONT.

– 2 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes – 1 tbsp tomato paste – 4 oz tomato sauce – ¼ cup shoyu – 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce – 2 cups low sodium beef broth

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cook the beef in a pot with oil 2. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 2-3 hours 3. Make a slurry and gradually add to the stew 4. Simmer for 1-2 mins as the stew thickens
