WHY IT'S GOING VIRAL

This burger is wrapped in caramelized onions instead of buns, with melty cheese, and a secret sauce. Low carb, protein-packed, and delicious!

INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED

– Yellow onion rounds – Olive oil – Ground beef – Vegetable oil – Cheddar cheese  – Mayo – Ketchup – Mustard – Dill pickles

STEP 1: SEAR THE ONIONS

Brush both sides of each onion round with olive oil.  Cook on a pan for 7–10 minutes Flip and cook for another 5–7 minutes.

STEP 2: MAKE THE SAUCE

Stir the mayo, ketchup, mustard, and chopped pickles in a bowl. Chill while preparing the rest of the recipe.

STEP 3: MAKE THE PATTIES

Form thin beef patties. Season, then cook in a hot skillet until crisp and juicy. Add American cheese on top to melt.

STEP 4: BUILD THE BURGER

Spread the sauce on the patties, sandwich with the onions, serve hot, and enjoy.
