EASY APPLE STRUDEL RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

– 1lb. puff pastry – 3 Granny Smith  – 4 tbsp sugar – 2 tbsp flour – ½ cup toasted hazelnuts – 3 tbsp brown sugar – 2 tsbsp breadcrumbs – 1 egg + 1 teaspoon water for brushing

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Peel, core, cut apples. Toss with 2 tbsp sugar and flour. Set for 15 mins. 2. Mix other ingredients. Roll out pastry.  3. Top with apples and mixed ingredients.

INSTRUCTIONS

4. Fold pastry closed. Brush with egg and water mix. Cut slits on top.  5. Bake at 375°F for 40 minutes till golden.
