CHICKEN BACON RANCH PASTA

INGREDIENTS FOR THE PASTA

– Bacon – Chicken breasts – Cajun seasoning – Butter  – Shallot – Heavy cream – Chicken broth – Ranch seasoning – Black pepper – Cheddar cheese – Parmesan cheese – Pasta

In a large skillet, pan-fry bacon until crispy. Remove, chop, and set aside. Leave some bacon grease in the pan (or replace with butter).

Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning. Cook in bacon grease over medium heat until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

STEP 4: BUILD THE SAUCE

Pour in cream and chicken broth. Stir in ranch seasoning and black pepper. When bubbling, whisk in cheddar and Parmesan until smooth and creamy.

STEP 5: TOSS WITH PASTA

Add cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat. Chop chicken and bacon into bite-sized pieces and stir into pasta.

STEP 6: GARNISH AND SERVE

Top with fresh parsley and parmesan. Serve warm with salad and crusty bread to dip in the sauce.
