INGREDIENTS

– Granny Smith apples – Sugar – Packed brown sugar – Ground cinnamon – Lemon juice – Butter

STEP 1: MELT THE BUTTER

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until fully liquefied. Move it around with a spatula as it heats.

STEP 2: COOK THE APPLES

Add the sliced apples to tthe skillet with lemon juice. Cook for 8-10 minutes, until the apples begin to soften.

STEP 3: ADD THE SUGAR

Once the butter is mostly absorbed and the apples have cooked down, sprinkle in the sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir well to coat.

STEP 4: FINISH AND SERVE

Continue cooking for 5 minutes until the sauce has thickened into a syrupy glaze. Remove from heat and serve warm.
