CHOCOLATE CAKE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

CAKE INGREDIENTS

– 2 cups flour – 2 cups sugar – ¾ cup cocoa powder – 2 tsp. baking powder – 1 ½ tsp. baking soda – 1 tsp. salt – 1 cup water – 1 cup buttermilk – ½ cup oil – 2 eggs – 2 tsp. vanilla

FROSTING INGREDIENTS

– 1 ½ cups unsalted butter, room temperature – 1 cup full-fat cream cheese, room temperature – 1 tbsp. vanilla extract – 4-6 cups powdered sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Combine dry ingredients. 2. Beat wet ingredients. 3. Mix wet and dry to make cake batter. 4. Bake in 2 cake pans at 350F for 25 mins. 5. Beat frosting in a bowl and frost cakes.
