Stuffed Ziti Fritta Olive Garden Copycat Recipe

1/4 cup ricotta

1/4 cup Parmesan & Romano shredded

1/4 cup cream cheese softened

1/4 cup mozzarella cheese shredded

1 tbsp basil chopped

1/2 box Rigatoni or Ziti pasta


2 eggs beaten

1 tbsp Italian seasoning

2 cups Italian breadcrumbs

1/4 cup Parmesan grated

1/4 cup alfredo sauce or marinara sauce


  1. To make the filling, combine ricotta, parmesan, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese and basil in a bowl. Transfer to a ziplock bag and refrigerate.
  2. Make the pasta according to package instructions, drain and let it cool down.
  3. Cut the tip of the ziplock bag and use the tip to fill the pasta.
  4. Combine eggs and Italian seasoning in a bowl. Combine Italian breadcrumbs and parmesan in another bowl. 
  5. Soak each rigatoni in the egg mixture, transfer to the breadcrumbs and press until fully covered.
  6. Heat the vegetable oil to 350°F and fry the pasta until golden brown on every side. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate to drain excess grease.
  7. Serve with alfredo or marinara sauce.
