This festive pumpkin custard pie is one of the best fall desserts you can make. It has a rich and smooth pumpkin custard filling in a crispy pie crust, topped with airy whipped cream and crunchy pumpkin seeds. The best part, it takes under an hour to finish, and only 10 minutes is active prep! 


1 Pie Crust

2 cups Pumpkin Puree

3 Eggs

1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

1/2 cup Heavy Cream

1/2 cup Brown Sugar

1/2 cup Granulated Sugar

1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon

1/4 tsp. Ground Ginger

1/4 tsp. Ground Nutmeg

1/8 tsp. Ground Cloves

1/2 tsp. Salt

Whipped Cream

Pumpkin Seeds


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch pie dish with butter, put the pie crust in it, and press the edges with a fork. Top with something heavy and oven-proof (like a pan or dried grains).
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven.
  4. Add the eggs and both sugars to a large bowl and whisk until creamy. Add the rest of the ingredients and whisk until well combined.
  5. Pour the filling mixture over the pie crust.
  6. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 50 minutes.
  7. Let it cool before slicing and serve with whipped cream and pumpkin seeds on top.
