Two 6oz. tilapia fillets

Olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

¼ cup flour

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp cayenne pepper

¼ tsp cumin powder

Lime and/or lemon slices to serve with

Instructions

  1. Pat tilapia dry with paper towels. 
  2. Season the tilapia with salt and pepper. 
  3. In a bowl, combine flour, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, and cumin powder.
  4. Coat the fish with flour and place it on a wire rack while you heat the oil.
  5. Heat enough oil to cover the fish in a skillet. 
  6. Once the oil is hot, add the tilapia and cook until golden brown or for 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Serve the tilapia with lime/lemon slices.
