Ingredients You'll Need
So, as I said before, this recipe really doesn't take much effort to make. All you need are 4 ingredients, and you probably have them in your pantry already!
Here's what you'll need to make this easy fudge recipe:
- 2 cups Chocolate Chunks or Chips
- ยฝ cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- ยผ cup Fireball Whiskey
Super simple ingredients, right?
Now, if you do have to make a store run, I highly recommend loading up on the chocolate chips and the sweetened condensed milk. That way you can make this peppermint fudge or salted caramel fudge with them so the kids have a dessert to enjoy too.
Also, since this is a homemade fudge recipe, you can definitely make some adjustments as you see fit. Want the fireball fudge to be a bit boozier? Add a bit more fireball and balance it out by using dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate chips. Or if you're a fan of white chocolate, you can use that too!
Oh, and if you're making this during the holidays, you can make it festive by adding some crushed-up candy canes on top of the fudge. That's what we do at our house anyway.
How to Make Fireball Fudge
If this is your first time making fudge from scratch, you'll find this recipe to be a breeze. You don't even need to use the stovetop!
So, let's not waste any more time and get making this easy fireball fudge recipe!
Step 1: Melt The Chocolate
First, you'll want to line an 8x8 or 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper. You can use either size baking pan you want, it will just change the thickness of the fudge. The smaller the pan, the thicker the fudge will be
Next, you're going to combine the chocolate chunks - or chips - and condensed milk in a microwave-safe bowl. Then, microwave for 1 minute, give it a stir, and microwave for another minute.
If the chocolate hasn't completely melted and combined with the sweetened condensed milk, you can microwave the mixture in 30-second increments, stirring between each one until the ingredients are fully incorporated.
Step 2: Make The Fudge
So, now that you have a somewhat smooth chocolate fudge mixture, you can add the vanilla extract and fireball whiskey into the bowl.
Then, give it a good mix until the whiskey has totally combined with the chocolate, and you have a smooth, frosting-like mixture.
Step 3: Let The Fudge Set
Now, once you have your fudge mixture looking good, you can transfer it to the prepared pan and either smooth it out or make a swirl effect on the top of the fudge with a toothpick like I did.
Then, transfer the fudge to the freezer and freeze overnight to let it set.
When you're ready to serve, take the fudge out of the freezer and let it thaw at room temperature, then cut it into any sized squares that you want. Finally, serve and enjoy!
How to Store Fireball Fudge
So, this fireball fudge recipe will make about 18 pieces. Of course, the exact amount depends on how you cut the fudge.
Now, I will say, I hardly ever have any leftovers when I make this fudge. But, if you end up with some don't worry, it stores really really well.
So, to store it you'll just want to transfer the leftover fudge to an airtight container and keep it in the fridge. Stored like this the fudge will stay good for up to 2-3 weeks.
Alternatively, to store your leftovers for even longer you can keep them in the freezer. Again, just transfer the fudge to an airtight container - or wrapped in plastic wrap in a freezer-safe bag - and it'll stay good for 2 months.

This was really, really good. Basically made this for myself since my husband doesn't drink. Not even sure it lasted me a week. My 2nd batch that I just made today, I made with dark chocolate chips and peppermint schnapps. I know it's gonna be good. ๐
