4 oz. cooked and crumbled bacon

8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature

2 tbsp sour cream

1 ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese

2-3 tbsp green onion, thinly sliced

¼ cup walnuts, chopped

1 tbsp Italian herbs

¼ tsp garlic powder

1 tsp poppy seeds

Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine 3 oz. bacon, cream cheese, sour cream, 1 cup cheddar cheese, 1 tbsp green onion, 2 tbsp walnuts, Italian herbs, garlic powder, ½ tsp poppy seeds, and black pepper to taste.
  2. Mix the ingredients well with a spatula and place the bowl in a fridge for 10 minutes.
  3. On a shallow plate, combine the remaining ingredients.
  4. Shape the cheese mixture into a ball and place it on top of the remaining ingredients on the plate.
  5. Roll the cheese through the toppings until completely covered.
  6. Serve with crackers or toasted bread slices.
