Easy Oven Baked Turkey Wings Recipe (Super Juicy and Crispy)

This baked turkey wings recipe combines super tender and juicy turkey wings with a blend of herbs and spices to create a meal that's to die for. Plus, they couldn't be easier to prep. In fact, just 10 minutes is all it takes to get them ready, and then the oven takes care of the rest!

Ingredients

2.5lb. whole turkey wings

2 tbsp olive oil

1 ½ tbsp dried parsley or parsley flakes

½ tbsp dried basil

2 tsp salt

1 ½ tsp paprika powder

1 ½ tsp chili powder

1 ½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp allspice

1 cup water

1 ½ tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). 
  2. In a large bowl, combine the oil and all of the spices.
  3. Rub the turkey wings with the prepared spice mixture and add them to the bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Transfer the wings to the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Add water to the bowl where you marinated the turkey and give it a good stir to combine it with any remaining spices. Pour the water over the turkey wings and cover the wings with aluminum foil. Bake for 1 hour and 45 minutes. 
  6. Remove the wings from the oven, and scoop around 1/3 of the cooking water into a bowl. Whisk in the cornstarch and pour the mixture over the turkey wings. 
  7. Cover the turkey wings with the foil again and bake for another 15-20 minutes. 
  8. Serve the turkey wings warm with some rice and with cooking juices.
