CHICKEN DIPPING SAUCE

This honey mustard sauce takes five minutes to make, keeps in the fridge for two weeks, and works on chicken, fries, sandwiches, and anything else you want to drizzle it on.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS RECIPE

Brown sugar separates this from a basic honey and mustard sauce. It adds a deeper, more caramel-like sweetness than honey alone and rounds out the sharpness of the mustard.

INGREDIENTS

For this recipe you'll need: Mayonnaise, Honey, Yellow mustard, Dijon mustard, Brown sugar, and Lemon juice

Add the mayonnaise, honey, yellow mustard, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and lemon juice to a medium bowl or directly into a jar.

STEP 1: COMBINE INGRERDIENTS

Whisk or stir vigorously until the sauce is completely smooth and fully combined with no streaks of mustard or undissolved brown sugar remaining.

STEP 2: WHISK UNTIL SMOOTH

Taste the sauce and adjust to your preference. Add more honey if you want it sweeter, or a little more Dijon if you want more mustard heat.

STEP 3: TASTE AND ADJUST

Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. For the best flavor, let it chill for several hours or overnight.

STEP 4: CHILL BEFORE SERVING

STORAGE TIPS

Store in an airtight jar or sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Freezing is not recommended.
