CHICKEN CAESAR SMASH TACOS

These chicken caesar smash tacos are clever, delicious, and the kind of recipe that makes complete sense the moment you bite into one.

Extra crispy smashed chicken taco shells with romaine and parm tossed in a homemade caesar dressing.

INGREDIENTS

Here is everything you need: Ground chicken, Mini tortillas, Romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese, Croutons, Mayo, Dijon mustard, Oil, Worcestershire sauce, Lemon juice, Garlic, Black pepper

In a medium bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients until fully combined. Slowly drizzle the olive oil while whisking constantly until the dressing is smooth.

STEP 1: MAKE THE CAESAR DRESSING

Add the chopped romaine to a large bowl and toss with your desired amount of caesar dressing.

STEP 2: DRESS THE ROMAINE

Season the ground chicken with salt and pepper.Take each portion and press it onto a mini tortilla, spreading it as evenly as possible.

STEP 3: PORTION AND PRESS THE CHICKEN

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place each tortilla meat-side down on the skillet. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes then flip, and cook for 3-4 minutes.

STEP 4: SMASH AND COOK

Pile the dressed caesar romaine generously on top of each smash taco. Finish with a sprinkle of shaved parmesan and a handful of croutons.

STEP 5: TOP AND SERVE

STORAGE TIPS

The components store well separately. Keep the  smash taco bases in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Refrigerate the dressing in a sealed jar for up to 1 week.
