DATES WITH PEANUT BUTTER

Of all the viral stuffed dates recipe, this one is the quickest, the easiest to pull together, and honestly, I think it tastes the most delicious out of everything I tried.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS RECIPE

These dates genuinely taste like a Snickers bar. Plus, there's no baking required so this is a no-oven, no-fuss recipe.

INGREDIENTS

I kept the ingredients super simple for this recipe. All you need is: Medjool dates, Peanut butter, Dark chocolate, and Flaky sea salt.

Line a large baking tray with parchment paper. Slice each date open lengthwise and remove the pit, then lay them flat on the tray.

STEP 1: PREP YOUR DATES

STEP 2: FILL WITH PEANUT BUTTER

Fill each date with just under a teaspoon of peanut butter. You don't want to overfill or it'll squeeze out everywhere when you bite into them.

STEP 3: MELT THE CHOCOLATE

Break the dark chocolate into pieces and microwave in 30-second intervals, until it's fully melted and smooth. This usually takes about 60–90 seconds total.

STEP 4: DRIZZLE AND SALT

Drizzle the melted chocolate over the stuffed dates using a spoon. Immediately sprinkle with flaky sea salt while the chocolate is still wet so it sticks.

STEP 5: SET IN THE FRIDGE

Refrigerate for about 20 minutes, or until the chocolate is fully set. Then they're ready to eat, or you can store them for later.

VARIATIONS

For a slightly lighter flavor use almond butter, or add Tahini for a classic Middle Eastern-inspired dish. You can also sprinkle with crushed peanuts for crunch.

STORAGE TIPS

Store the finished dates in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. You can also freeze them for up to 2 months.
